Oh dear- this is the one week they really do need Dilly!! They’re still keeping so so much.

ithinkicanithinkican · 25/02/2025 20:40

Iwan may not be the man for this job.

Yourethebeerthief · 25/02/2025 20:43

Oh bloody hell they needed rid of about 80% 🫤

God love him, he's a softie

ithinkicanithinkican · 25/02/2025 20:44

I'm not sure Rob is up to this either, much as I love him.

Thisisthewayz · 25/02/2025 20:44

Exactly- 40% was no where near enough. I hope Dilly isn’t watching this episode!!

Yourethebeerthief · 25/02/2025 20:45

Stacey always pissing about with total nonsense 😅

I actually crave a programme where Dilly comes in and sorts the lot herself 😂

LenaLamont · 25/02/2025 20:47

They need Rob to walk through the warehouse past the clothes with a flamethrower. This is utter madness.

Yourethebeerthief · 25/02/2025 20:47

Alright Iwan fair enough, I actually like that one 😅

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 25/02/2025 20:53

I don't understand why people put themselves forward for this if they aren't willing to engage properly, they were told over 50% and didn't even make the benchmark!

LenaLamont · 25/02/2025 20:54

DS just said “And when the world needed Dilly most, she could not answer. Thus, the empires fell…”

Apparently, this level of nonsense needs an heroic voice over

Yourethebeerthief · 25/02/2025 20:57

Aw that's really swish with the telly though. God love them

Meredusoleil · 25/02/2025 20:57

Really don't like the curtain under the kitchen counter to house the pan pull out thingy.

Also hate this monstrosity of the TV unit. They should have put the bigger TV in the living room and the smaller one on a different wall in the bedroom. Not right in front of yhe window!

The older daughter's bedroom is the best.

Meredusoleil · 25/02/2025 20:58

So are this couple not married yet then? Confused as thought we saw a (religious) wedding photo of them?!?

Yourethebeerthief · 25/02/2025 20:59

They said it was a religious ceremony but not a legal marriage

Oh! Most religious marriages are recognised here un the UK.

TitusMoan · 25/02/2025 21:16

How did she afford all those shoes?!

Lovelyview · 25/02/2025 21:24

TitusMoan · 25/02/2025 21:16

How did she afford all those shoes?!

I always think of the horrific waste of money that this type of hoarding represents. Even if she buys a lot of things on Vinted and in charity shops we're talking a rough estimate of £60,000 on clothes for 6,000 items of clothing at an average of £10 an item and that's not including the shoes 😬

LaPalmaLlama · 25/02/2025 21:24

No one has space for a shoe closet like that in a 4 bed semi. Should have been 15 pairs of shoes each. I guarantee that house will be back as it was within a year.

TheAverageJoanne · 25/02/2025 21:37

So you wanna walk into a kitchen and it be like ... Stacey this is real life, you're not living in a meme!!!

maximalistmaximus · 25/02/2025 21:54

CaptBirdsEar · 25/02/2025 20:07

Honestly, how do people live like this?

Our house has been worse than some of these at times.

It's overall better now but it's still very cluttered.

I like having 'things' I wouldn't want a minimalist home.

But I would like more storage & organisation!

LenaLamont · 25/02/2025 21:58

I want to know more about that QR thing Iwan was doing - it seemed to be some sort of IKEA warehouse app where you find your summer clothes in aisle 12, position 97 of your own personal warehouse or something.

WHERE were those containers going? In the garage maybe? (was there a garage?) The daughter said the attic was rammed.

Somehow I think so

The over buying problem hasn't been solved

Wonder what they do with all the excess stuff

SleepEatSnoozeRepeat · 25/02/2025 22:06

I can’t help but think that if you need an app with QR codes to tell you where your clothes are, you still have far too many clothes. The family seemed so lovely but that poor woman had so much trauma still, I truly hope she is able to get some help with that.
That said, I do wonder if there is a cultural thing with the need for different and special clothes. My close friend from school has an entire room for her Indian clothes, fortunately she has the space. Not 6000+ items though, that really is something else!
