Oh poor Dilly, I hope she's OK.

EndlesslyDistracted · 08/05/2024 09:34

She posted on insta a couple of days ago that she was OK and coming out of hospital that day, so hopefully on the mend now

Ulysees · 08/05/2024 12:16

That's good news.

The house from episode 1 (the widower with 2 little girls) is up for sale!

Makes you wonder what the point was of going on the show in the first place?!

Check out this 3 bedroom terraced house for sale on Rightmove

So he could get it organised for free in order to sell!

It just seems like a bit of a piss-take?! It was first listed in December 2023 so only a few months after they did it…

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 15/05/2024 17:39

Notice how "the reading area" became a second bedroom

CharlotteCollinsneeLucas · 15/05/2024 18:11

How can he move away so soon from so many features designed personally for them?

Rummikub · 15/05/2024 18:26

Ah that’s actually sad. The girls loved that secret reading room

Ulysees · 15/05/2024 20:11

That's awful.

Guys you have no idea why he's moving or what is best for that family. We only see a snapshot of their lives and you could probably give him the benefit of the doubt that he's considered his kids interests here.

You’re absolutely right, and I’m sure that it’s just a coincidence that he decided moving would be in their best interests shortly after he got a free bespoke remodel of his house and not before. As a license fee payer I’m delighted to have contributed to the resultant bump in the asking price Grin

Absolutely, there are any number of reasons he could be moving, some of the comment here is shameful tbh.

New girlfriend.

ABirdsEyeView · 15/05/2024 23:11

Maybe his work is relocating. Or he's struggling to live in that house without his wife. Or can't afford the mortgage. There's loads of reasons why someone might sell their house.
Maybe he is dating again. I know that if I was seeing a man whose partner had died, I wouldn't really want to live in their house.
People are allowed to move home.

I am watching tonight's episode on BBC1, but it is looking familiar. Does anyone know if it's a repeat?

I think they've started repeating them from the beginning? I haven't seen tonight's episode before but Stacey didn't look quite as polished as she does now.

I stopped watching as recognised the family and when Stacey said she had 3 kids (and was still in her red hair dye phase), I realised that it was an old episode that I had already seen.

Really wish they would make it clear it's a repeat. So irritating to tune in and then find out.

Newgirls · 05/06/2024 08:21

I hadn’t seen last nights before. The kids are going to out grow those beds soon I think?

Rummikub · 05/06/2024 11:42

I liked yesterday’s even though it was a repeat.

itd be a few years before they out grew those beds wouldn’t it?

Newgirls · 05/06/2024 13:13

Hope so

Yourethebeerthief · 09/01/2025 18:52

New series coming soon. I've rewatched all previous episodes and desperate for the new one. Gave me inspiration to have a new years declutter!

Wonder when series 5 will air

So glad another series is coming I don't know why it works but I really do like this show.

Yourethebeerthief · 09/01/2025 20:44

@CadyEastman

Yeah I absolutely love it! I get great satisfaction seeing chaos put into order. There's also been some really lovely families on the show that you genuinely feel for. There's a teaser trailer on bbc iPlayer

TheAverageJoanne · 09/01/2025 22:47

Dilly's been on an ITV show tonight about decluttering and selling stuff. I can't remember what it was called though! Only on for half an hour.
