Just been rewatching a few from Series 1 and I wish they would do long-term follow ups, like some of the garden makeover or moving to the countryside shows do. Be interesting to see if people manage to keep it up. Hope so, it feels genuinely life-changing for some.

They'd only be able to follow up with the families who successfully stuck to it. Hoarding is a difficult compulsion to break so I imagine there will be families whose houses are an absolute riot again now. Too depressing to show that outcome. Or the father whose wife passed away and the two girls who the team made the gorgeous reading room for. Someone mentioned on this thread that he sold the house and linked to rightmove where you could see the house for sale as it was after Stacey's team had done it up.

Wow - 10 months since I posted after seeing that episode!

I started the ball rolling for neurodiversity assessment and meanwhile XSTBDP actually left.

In the autumn I got an autism diagnosis (ADHD inconclusive) and help with that is due soon.

Meanwhile I've lost 4 stone (eating was one of my issues), chaotic house is still a work in progress but I work on improving it every day.

I'm also thriving at work now

Knackered but everything is heading in the right direction
