I watched today Dean is evil I had to Ff the bit where he was accusing Jean it was too much! I bet Jack will be on the case and ring himself round Denise to protect her and Johnny and Linda would throw any one of them under a bus. I don't like the new johnny he's too much like Ben Mitchell

I’m glad the body will be found. I was dreading this dragging on for the rest of the year with a big reveal at Xmas.

Surely this means Karen will be back, gunning for Sharon.

I think Johnny will swing into action and frame one of the Six (well the Five as excluding Linda). I’m sure he has the murder weapon.

What Dean is doing to Jean was horrible to watch. Hopefully Harvey will realise.

Priya's storyline was quite amusing but everything else was dull, and what a stupid storyline for Ben.

Roll on next week, sounds much better.

Presumably, this is Ben's leaving story, so he's going daaaan!

Surely his defence is he was looking for a last chance cure for the mother of his child, extreme emotional distress etc.

.... and for the love of god will someone get Whitney some decent maternity wear. I'm not sure even super lawyer Richie could defend the crime that is that jumper dress.

I did wonder if Whitney's outfit was like this to hide the baby bump cushion ( which is clearly not a real baby bump)
..(Or whatever the wardrobe people use to make the actress look like she is pregnant !)

They should ask to see the security camera film of the evening at the pub- and see him disconnect the oxygen.

Agree that Chelsea wears the best outfits.
Maybe ( but no idea) she was given that big house by murderer Gray with little or no mortgage and has all those lodgers too ( Felix, Bernie, her mum ) can afford some nice clothes that are not from the market. For someone who does part time in the bar, she is well groomed !

I wonder if that was Ben’s last episode, today? Such a crap ending if so.

I think if the actors leave under a cloud then they don't get a nice ending and get rubbish stories, I am not convinced his leaving was amicable.

@Eastie77Returns you may well be right that Johnny has the murder weapon. As there are kids in the house my first thought would be one of them had taken it, but it didn't seem to cross Linda's mind!

I was watching live yesterday and switched it off when Dean started accusing Jean, I can't watch him any more. The Whitney storyline is so contrived I can't get invested in that either.

Ben is a major character so the actor must really have upset the producers to get such an abrupt leaving storyline.

I've noticed that one household in EE has the same curtains as me. Presumably this means I'll never be able to even pretend that I may be middle class on MN (I'm not btw)

@GloriousintheArctic ohhh, would be a good twist if Ollie suddenly pulls the weapon out of his school bag😂 Linda pays him zero attention so it’s possible she wouldn’t notice he took it.

Ben actor burned his bridges with EE bosses and posted stuff online saying he was glad to leave, hence the crappy ending I guess. They’ll have to recast Ben for the 6th or 7th time if they bring him back.

@usernother a lot of people on EE seem to live a middle class lifestyle, they just seem to manage it on a low income! Martin runs a fruit and veg stall but casually took a 3 month holiday in Australia. Unless Phil is a v generous employer I have no idea how Chelsea turns out in immaculate, pricey clothes and hairstyles on a part time barmaid’s wages + affords nursery fees for her invisible son.

Oh did he @Eastie77Returns well he probably got the leaving story they thought he deserved !

The Whitney / Britney story is awful
Considering how much Whit wanted a child and then they lost Peach , she is now acting as if she doesn't care too much for the baby at all
I know that the actress is leaving , but it's sad they have changed her character so much

I was transfixed by Kathy's new face. Pointy chin, pronounced cheekbones and skin like vinyl. Whit is being very stupid and surely the authorities will want to know what's happened to Britney. She's 13 and she's been 'bought' by a stranger and taken to the other end of the country.
