Boring episode today with the only remarkable thing being the costume department’s continued determination to dress Honey like a 90 year old. The Laura Ashley blouse and mustard coloured tank top combo was bloody hideous.

Honey is such an attractive lady it's sad they dress her in such horrible attire

Linda was in black for Halloween and she looked so much better than her usual pink or those trouser skirt things she wears with flamingos patterns.
We've said it before , but the only sassy lady dresser is Chelsea atm

What does Honey see in Billy though?

All of Honey's relationship's have been odd.

There was the weird relationship with Jay.

The Doctor (or Dentist?) who turned out to be controlling and cheated on her.

Billy genuinely looks old enough to be her dad. Perhaps he is, the actor is in his 60s I think.

I loved seeing her with Jay.

Blimey ! Bianca is straight in with the stories. She is funny sometimes
Who did Zack cheat with when he was with Nancy ? I remember them together, but I can't remember who he went off with

What does Billy's dad want ?
He is a bit like George's dad
Love how Lexi gets a day off school just like that. They do spoil that girl sometimes

Wasn't it Sam? And he was caught because of the photo taken as proof of delivery of a parcel?

I did too ! Think they were well suited actually. Both kind gentle souls.

Deniae dresses well too I think.

Eve dresses very normally. Jeans, hoodies and converse? The others bright, tight, leopard print, silver, patterns.

I noticed Lauren doing the school run in black skirt, tights, and heeled boots. It looked strange because people don’t dress like that since covid esp people who aren’t working and are spending their days walking around their street, not doing anything.

I miss Eve ! Since she moved in with Suki and co she has sort of disappeared.

Jay is a lovely gentle soul but he isn't a mug, I don't believe he'd be this gullible. And as for renting Nadine a flat, as if.

The age gap between Billy and Honey has got even more obvious as time has gone on. What's his dad here for... actually no I don't care.

Lauren has a constant uniform of short skirts, black tights, heels, leather jacket.

No chance of Bianca keeping this quiet, she's a gob on legs. And WhitWhit FGS stop stroking your bump!

Nadine's bump is very low for how far along she's supposed to be. How is jay going to afford to rent a London prices flat, pay all the bills etc on his salary from the car lot. Another example of Walford bottomless pockets.

Yeah it does bug me that it isn't the slightest bit realistic.

You can have eight or so working adults mysteriously able to cram into a house, but are on the poverty line, and you can have two people in a huge house in London managing to afford everything.

And I know Phil now runs the boxing gym and the arches now, but he is another one with loadsa money.

I don't know why, but have a feeling Shirl will come back with Carly? Wasn't she a mechanic? Who is going to run the arches?there is a vacancy there.

I saw that they are doing a Patrick and Yolande double hander on 7th May, that will be class and an antidote to the nonsense that's happening atm,

The Whitney taking Britney thing could all have been avoided as it would probably have been okayed as a private fostering arrangement.

She should have just fostered it didn't need to be a "thing"

Yeah....can someone remind me why she didn't just go through the appropriate channels and foster Britney formally? They were already approved foster carers so presumably it shouldn't have been too difficult (though I don't work in this area, so have no idea really!)

It's such a poor storyline, and sad that its Whitney's departing story as she's been a fab actress over the years and tackled some really good storylines previously (e.g., grooming)

I don't think Britney was going to be fostered though was she, other than an overnight or two while her mum was in custody. The mother was not bothered about whether Britney stayed or not - but was prepared to 'give her' to Whitney for cash. I doubt she would have bothered with official fostering, unless forced to.

I’m very much looking forward to the episode next Tuesday that’s devoted to Yolande and Patrick. There have been some superb two-handers in the past, my all-time favourite being the Dot and Ethel episode back in 1987, which I rewatched a few times. And, if you were watching in 1998, how can anyone forget the episode with Pat and Peggy when they had a fight about Frank? The episode with Michelle and Sharon when Michelle told her Den was Vicky’s father also sticks in my mind.

You're not wrong there @Mrsjayy 😁 I can't at the moment see how they are going to resolve this satisfactorily, but then again I couldn't see how they would resolve the Six and they did.

The two hander should be great, and I am glad Yolande's storyline isn't being dragged out for aeons. Hopefully this will lead to the pastor getting his just desserts.

Already bored with Billy's dad. Good actor, but too much like George's dad.
How he didn't know Jamie had died I'm not sure and ( more importantly) I don't care.
Really dreary storyline I bet and his bound to be trouble.
Janet did her GCSE's last year , is she at college now ? They are rarely seen with their children all together
It's true that Bianca brightened it up a bit , the others do look jaded and tired and the whit / Brit stuff is just dragged out
