I don't know why she just didn't Foster her I might have missed out/glazed over watching the Milton Keynes episodes.

Britney was a 'statistic' of children who didn't go back to school after the pandemic.
Or even start secondary school ( in her case)
I suppose some schools have children like her who just slip past the net and the authorities and they can't track them down for whatever reasons. Probably move home or don't answer the calls or visits. Sad really.

I've just had to switch it off it's actually a pile of💩 I couldn't care less about Whitwhit/zack/Lauren nonsense!

@the80sweregreat oh yes now you say that I remember that rather stilted conversation between Whit and the head teacher. But there was some kind of Social Services intervention, wasn't there, because the mum was arrested at the end of Whit's stay for drug use? So you'd think at that point B would come onto their radar.

None of it makes any sense really re Britney.
It's a poor exit for Shona.
I think they are trying to do a ' history repeats itself ' by her rescuing Britney as Bianca did with Whitney , but it's been clunky.
Maybe it'll have a happier outcome eventually?

They should all be recorded on the national lost pupil database. I don't think Britney would have gone missing, her mums chaotic lifestyle would have presumably led to visits from police and any children at the address are checked out with the LA to check they are known.

Bianca was with Whitneys Dad (did he die?) I don't know if they married and she would have adopted her or she stayed with Bianca .on a guardianship basis .

I'll take Britney over Lexi .
That sideways eye roll thing she (Lexi) does makes me think bad thoughts that I usually reserve for Nugget !

Whitney spoke to the Head of the secondary school where Britney lived and she ( sort of) indicated that they hadn't seen B and she hadn't attended her school and then a speech ( more a ' public information film ' ) about the missing pandemic children. I assumed that nobody had really tried to trace her or maybe they did try and couldn't get hold her or her mum?
(This is EE though where IVF procedures are incorrectly portrayed and people can go off to a new life with one rucksack and nothing about visas or any of the necessary details you would need in real life!)

Nugget & Priya's daughter both have horrendous speech. Don't mind the South London accent, usually sounds coherent, but those two sound like inarticulate thickos. Denzil's lovely though, boy next door, it's a pity the writers seem to be turning him into an angry steroid user.

Nugget sounds like he;s angry and pouting at the same time like a nasty little toddler
Avani is all Wha' EVAH and I half expect ger to do the Snake Head thing .

I blame their parents , how could they turn out well with Priya and Ravi as their role models (though Nugget lived with his grandfather - who wasn't- but he was a wrong 'un too) !

I find them hard to understand too. I don't really mind because I tune out when they are in scenes. When Nugget went missing, I really hoped he'd disappeared for good.

I used find Max hard to understand as well because he muttered a bit and Freddie's accent was very difficult to understand. It softened a bit as time went on but I remember replaying his lines a couple of times and could never make them out.

I always have the subtitles on so I don't have to struggle!
I'm finding the Denzil story really boring, yet another one I hope will not go on too long.

I put the subtitles on for everything these days!
I don't mind Denzil or Amy , Nugget is a good actor as he plays annoying really well
Shame if Denzil becomes a steroid taker permanently, it can't do you much good at all and he was snapping at Yolande

I think Nugget and Avani both sound very authentic. Lots of teenagers sound inarticulate. They both playing annoying very well.

Also Dean WAS in the pub the night it all happened. He was sown (I think) coming down the stairs and going out the back door

Going by social media , it seems the whole ' Zac is Britney's dad' might actually be a storyline. I just about swallowed the whole George / Cindy Rose back from the dead one last year, but this ( if true) is pretty ludicrous
He didn't seem to recognize Britney's mum
She would have recognized him surely ? Unless both high on drugs at the time or he had his head covered up or something?
I know Zac used to take steroids and it was 13 years ago, but it still is far fetched
( which I know all the stories are!)

God sake ! I mean surely he would recognise the mum. EE Is getting like those rubbish american soaps that I definitely didn't watch 😂

American soaps are notorious for all these types of stories aren't they ? Women who have children they can't recall giving birth too as well .. although they did this one with Kat to be fair !
Someone on the other thread said that Britney looks a bit like Zac.
Facebook isn't often wrong with their predictions as they said about the Nadine fake pregnancy a while back.
I don't think Zac is leaving , so no idea how this will pan out IF it's true.

I can’t find any official spoilers about Zack being her dad so probably it’s fan speculation?

Oh yes Kat had twins that she forgot about 😃

Kat had a boy twin she didn't know about.
He ended up living in Ireland.

Zack/Britney? I don't buy that.

Bianca is back in the Square for the whole of May apparently. So it does look as if WhitWhit might leave with her.

I'll miss Whitney as I liked her character and she did the Peach story well with Zac.
She deserves a happy ending as been a tragic one since day one really
