I didn't know that Adam Woodyatt was a real life chef. I know he was in a stage play up north at one point and living in a caravan ! The 'one show ' interviewed him on location.
He had just separated from his wife.
I like smug Ian , he has that face he pulls when he is getting one over on someone..
I think it's sad they have brought Cindy / Ian back together, but mostly it's been storylines here and there and not much has happened there really.
I did wonder if George and her might get close , but that might be too obvious

The people Suki would rat on would presumably be Linda who actually killed Keanu, and possibly Denise who hit Nish (Nish currently thinks Suki hit him I think?) As they have said, if one goes down so do all the others as they have admitted they were there together. I think Eve would take a dim view that both Suki and Stacey have been keeping it from her for months.

I think they are playing the long game with George and Cindy, they might get back together at some point, whether Adam Woodyatt stays or not - he is used to his wives leaving him!

The only evidence the police have for Sharon so far is a desperate voice mail phone call from Keanu to Karen.
Sharon had just found out that he had Albie kidnapped and Keanu had found out he wasn't his dad, so it's bound to have been a bit muddled and upsetting and he did blame Sharon for keeping him in the dark. There was a lot of shouting coming from that church vestry !
Surely any lawyer would argue this wouldn't necessarily lead to him being killed though ?
They also think he attacked Nish.
I'm not sure they can keep Sharon for long under caution with such flimsy evidence? They will need more from his body I guess ( or the murder weapon ? Although that has been wiped and washed and cleaned, even if it did appear at some stage)

Maybe it was a family WhatsApp - that would show it to be in Keanus phone, Karen's and for Bernie to replay it?

It was a voice note, not a voice mail. They can be forwarded on WhatsApp, not sure about other apps

Yes he is a real life chef! Who’d have thought it! I think he does like the free life in a camper van since getting divorced and I love his smug face too. Cindy cheating with George would be too obvious, I mean it probably is a future Eastenders bombshell though.

I thought the actress playing Gloria would’ve been quite pretty in the past when I saw her with Cindy in Thursday’s episode. Obviously she’s not of the cosmetic surgery generation but that’s refreshing.

Voice note is quicker than ringing and going to VM? Not everyone checks their VM?

Erm, not sure why you're arguing with me about a soap! It was clearly done for the plot.

The only reason I mentioned that it was a voice note was because someone else queried being able to send voicemails, as part of the discussion and I remember hearing it be said that it was a voice note (conversation between Bernie and Felix).

Sorry I didn’t mean to argue with you. It’s typical EE. Someone who was distressed and on his way around to see his mum recorded a msg and sent it rather than ring her directly. Obviously the whole plot doesn’t make sense, but I particularly enjoy picking up the smaller things where they could and should do better.

The voice note can now be used as supposed evidence whereas Ken speaking to Karen would have disappeared into the ether.

I do hope Karen is not going to turn up in the Square again but it seems inevitable.

I did think ( at first ) that the message Bernie was playing on her phone with Felix was Keanu trying to speak to her and she was ignoring him on Christmas Day ( because she had dobbed him in to Phil earlier on over the kidnap)
However, I then thought it was the message from Keanu to Karen ... which it might be
I've now confused myself ( not hard!) and fell down a rabbit hole online of seeing if you can forwards on voice mails / messages from one phone to another one. Which seems you can , but only certain phones has this facility ( according to the internet anyway , which isn't always correct )
Anyway, based on this rant about Sharon on a phone , she is now in custody for killing him

Nah surely Richie will have her out of there in a day or two, very flimsy evidence. I have no idea about voice notes, but it all sounds about as likely as there being no CCTV in Walford 😁

Maybe Philth doesn't want Sharon to get out of prison too quick , then he will have custody of Albie .

As a side note , Sharon looked so good wearing denim jeans , she's been so long wearing black , then those shiney leggings but classic straight legged jeans was a change and I think she should wear them more ...then she was back in the black leggings again !

Sharon does look nice lately.
Not too keen on her white coat , but only because I'd never wear white with a small child around! It suits her.

Does Phil really want a small child about ? It was different when he had Kat around to look out for Raymond , but his on his own now and not that young anymore. He sounds out of breath most of the time!
He might like the idea of another male Mitchell to continue the dynasty , but the actual grunt work he might struggle with!!
Zac whisked Albie away on Thursday , but mostly the poor soul is going to be handed around his various relatives who already have many other various children to care for and Whitney has Britney now as well as a baby due!

Philth is a bit Dog In A Manger , he probably doesn't want Albie but he doesn't want anyone else to have him.

Albie cannot live with Zac and Whitney as they have way too much going on in their lives .
I don't think Sam will come back to be a Keeper of the KiddieKupboard.
Louise and Peggy could come back for an extended visit (and look after her little brother as he's faaaamily )

Sharon only has to stay in custody for a couple of weeks to let Phil bond with his boy .

I doubt Lisa will want to help Phil out considering he was hardly around for Louise , but who knows? ..
Knowing Phil he might even dump Albie off on his ex , Kathy ! She's at a loose end now she hasn't the caff or a husband and the parrot has gone awol!
I bet it'll be Sharon going on about ' can't be parted from Albie ' until he ends up back in the kiddo cupboard when it suits her and she gets out of custody!

Phil could hardly look after any of his kids hes just too hung up on Fahhmily!

Didn’t Phil raise Louise for years? Am sure he tracked Lisa down in Portugal at one point and took toddler Louise while shouting the usual “you ain’t fit to be ‘er muvver” etc.

I have a huge crush on Mr Salmond. I hate to say this because it sounds ageist but I really think he looks ill matched with Elaine since he looks so much younger than his actual age. Whenever I see him in a scene with Linda I think they look more like a couple.

Can’t believe the police arrested Sharon. And Bernie went from hugging and crying with her in one scene to calling her a murderer 5 minutes later. All because of a single voice note.

Phil kidnapped Raymond a while ago didn't he - for about two days. I think that is the limit of his parenting abilities. I can't remember if he ever had Louise living with him but his current girlfriend (or sister/mother) would have done the looking after.

I don't know if is just age related as he and Cindy also look a credible couple.
He doesn't look right with Elaine.

I can visualize Rose and George and the girls running the bar in Marbs with the occasional visits from his son and parents!
The son has a different mum , I'm surprised he hasn't rocked up yet or his first wife.
Elaine is too full on for him , although sometimes it seems to work.
