I think Sara is hiding something, just seemed to give off a bit of a guilty vibe to me

His brother Mitchell who was on the show with Ella, who was lovely, was just as weird as Jayden. A strange pair of brothers.

Just caught up with the series.

Jayden's confession was horrendous and I wouldn't be able to get over it. It's a shame as I really liked him at the dinner party.

Collins is infuriating and I have also wondered about a learning disability, he can't have a serious conversation. I'm baffled he and Natalie are back.

I do like Timothy, loved his stance about the photos and while I like Lucinda they are not compatible and I was killing myself laughing when he said she wanted to go to a tantric sex retreat in the forest.

You're probably right I'm shocking with names.

Posted too soon! I love Lauren, she's so open and honest and spot on with her judgement of the other blokes. I have a few friends like her, they'd give you the coat off their back and they would also ruin your night out by being a total pain in the arse.

I really can't stand Ben and feel sorry for his partner who wants children. He doesn't seem genuine at all, I fear the Mr Bean cousin was right.

Oh yea! Tim and Sara! I think she should show him her phone, though.

I like Timothy and loved his stance on the photo ranking task. He was absolutely right to refuse to do it. I've gone right off Richard Sleazebag 🙄

Checking in, name changed since the last series but regular MAFS thread contributor. I've been away so have frantic catching up to do; going to try and cram them all into the weekend. Back in the week, if DH hasn't thrown me out. Hoping the fact I'm growing him a baby will buy me some leniency.

First impressions from ep. 1, Tristan is punching harder than the Muay Thai champion guy, Cassandra is proper Disney Princess beautiful.

I'm very 'meh' about the other two but loved her catty friend loudly relieved that Mullet Guy was not the Groom.

Do they all their veneers done in the same place before this starts? Group discount?

At least Richard listened to what he'd done wrong and how she felt about it, and admitted his stupidity.

I also wondered if it was a kink thing and they had that kind of relationship. Some people are into all that.

I would have had so many follow up questions!

I'm way behind but Jayden's confession raised questions on consent for me. I think Eden should leave or he should be thrown out.

Also the guy who says he's "open" to not having kids...HE DOESN'T WANT KIDS! And if he had them, he'd be a shit dad because he'd feel he only did it to shut the woman up.

Sara looked guilty to me.

Nat definitely deserved a proper match.

Eden needs to run…the vindictive, planned, cold sexual punishment that Jayden described was truly disturbing. She is so lovely.

I like Timothy - I think he’s kind and respectful but I also think it’s as simple as he doesn’t fancy Lucinda.

Yep I was glad to see the penny drop with Richard.

Tim didn't rank sex lowest tbf. I would love to drink organic sav blanc with Lucinda in Byron Bay but feel that if he gives an inch (not literally) she'll expect another mile immediately. I've been there with otherwise lovely men and it's exhausting. His leaf blower analogy is spot on, they don't give any little spark of attraction or affection room to breathe.

Collins is like an AI person. I don’t think he’s real.

I love the guy married to Lucinda. He's hilarious

Just catching up with this week now (I usually watch each week in bulk on a Thursday or Friday evening when DH has his hobby).

OMG - Jayden. WTF? His ex cheated, and he was hurting. I completely get that, but break up! Also the ex agreeing to watch (was she that desperate to stay with him?!), makes me inclined to agree with others here that it could have been a kink-thing? Poor Eden though. The situations were different, but there are similarities there (the cheating exes, sex with a friend), that it must have been so triggering to her past pain.

Big respect to Timothy for refusing to do the photo task and for his reasons - it is pervy and creepy to eye and rank girls 20-30 years younger than him. I also like how him and Lucinda reconciled it at the end with just placing their one photos of each other.

I adore Lucinda! I want to be her friend and drink wine with her (my favourite moment was at the first dinner party - "Who's Jack?"). But I don't think her and Timothy are suited. I like Timothy too, as a person, but he's too closed off for Lucinda - he's grieving and needs to work on himself right now. (I would love for them to work out though, and his one-limers are the best.)

Jack - urgh.

What on earth happened between Natalie and Collins. Collins fake tears and goodbye at the Donner party. Natalie was clearly upset and doesn't seem to be able to handle the stress of the experience, especially with Collins' lack of affection and interest. I'm surprised she came back, and I'm worried about her mental health if she stays in for much longer.

Cassandra is adorable. She is really pretty, but just so cheerful. I want to wrap her up in a bear hug and make her my little sister. I like Tristan, too, and I'd like them to work, but again I'm not too sure the two of them will be able to continue for long after the experiment ends. I think he's just too insecure for a long term/serious relationship right now.

Timothy's take on situations is very astute and spot on. But the effort does feel very one sided. Good to see them have that heart to heart and see where it goes. I still don't think they'll be together for the long run though.

I bet he's dreading intimacy week!

Imagine Lucinda being paired with a male version of Lucinda. That would actually be hilarious, all soft empathetic talk constantly, rubbing and touching 24 hours a day, out nice-ing each other “do you want a coffee darling? “ “No let me make it” “ no I insist” “no I insist!” “No I Insist!!”

They’d hate each other and possibly kill each other after a week 😁

And yes Cassandra is way too nice for Tristan
and Jayden is a perv too. Who thinks up that scenario other than someone with weird ideas about sex

This series has too many uneven couples. Too many spouses who seem to be there to make the other spouse better. Natalie was meant to help Collins have his first relationship, Cassandra is meant to help Tristan feel better about himself (and he is meant to help her through grief), Lucinda needs to help Tim be less lonely and isolated. It feels like a really unhealthy relationship model that you are not supposed to be looking out for your own needs.
