Sorry about the unimaginative thread title!

I so like Ellie. She’s such fun

Free-diving could also come in handy. Let's make it the modern heptathlon.

Better than shooting. A bit if free diving

DH and I were just saying we think Ellie would be nice to work with. If you messed something up, I reckon she'd calm you down and help you sort it out.

Foraging would also be handy for an intrepid cavalry officer. Modern octathlon.

She def won the fish course. Mains could go either way. I think her cooking is more consistent. Please don't let that be a jinx.

Andi keeps on making comments about the timing and how organised they are. You can tell she has been really frustrated some weeks.

I think Andi has really enjoyed this week. The tension in previous weeks can't have been fun.

It's been nice to see smiles and laughs, even under pressure.

It's a real shame they don't get the pork dish for mains.
They are both cooking within their capabilities and so having a smoother time than other weeks. It's so much nicer to watch

Oh no, when your entire pudding is based on ice-cream!

Ben's starter, Ellie's fish, Andy's main and vegan chap's dessert should be the banquet.

Blast chiller tantrum guy would have gone the full Basil Fawlty on that ice-cream machine by now.

What is it about this show that even when you bring your own ice-cream machine it still never works?

I used to work in a seaside café and we had a Taylors ice cream machine - it used to mess up fairly often and usually on really hot days. In the end we had two there so we had back up. The engineers were always at least a day away. I wonder why they aren't more reliable these days.

I was at theatre last night, so am catching up on mains and desserts tonight. What a fabulous heat this week, and what a shame others have crawled through with such poor scores and these have to go.and some of these

My go-to ice-cream is Mary Berry's rum and raisin, which only has four ingredients and where you don't need a machine.

I think Ben is going to win on better theming

Definitely! Would be interesting to be a fly on the wall when the cameras are off. I don't think Tom would want anyone tetchy and difficult going through.

I think he'll get it. If this ice cream goes well, it's a winner.
