Sorry about the unimaginative thread title!

Managed to cadge enough bandwidth to watch, but not multitask. Really pleased with the result but agree that it sucks for Andi given some of the dross that got through

A fabulous heat, especially compared to last week's debacle 😳. So sad for Andy. They were all such a lovely bunch of chefs ❤️

Am out tomorrow so will miss the ice-cream drama!

I really don’t like this format. In this heat we’ve seen a main, fish course and dessert that are easily banquet worthy, but just cooked by different chefs.

The format doesn’t work when chefs cooking amazing courses are eliminated, the banquet can never be the ‘best’ courses.

Im so glad Elly has improved but gutted Andi is out with his main that would be fantastic at the banquet.

I think I'd like Ellie to go through but I thought Ben's final two courses were really banquetworthy. (I've decided that banquetworthy is a proper word.) This show is very frustrating sometimes.

Ellie and Ben also have a really good, professional attitude in the kitchen. (Cue one of them having the mother of all meltdowns.)

Both working on improvements. It could be very close (please put them both through).

I always frighten myself in the loo after eating beetroot crisps. I cannot imagine the level of stress drinking beetroot juice would create.

I’ve eaten at Ben’s restaurant a few times. The food has always been great. They specialise in seafood and don’t over complicate it.

I think Ben might win tonight. The judges seem to be preferring his dishes so far.

Agree they do seem to prefer his.
