Who's wilf?

Shock Are you not a loyal fan of The Traitors? Grin

Wilf was in S1.

Pollyannamex · 27/01/2024 00:58

I hope Mollie is getting some support. They went very easy on her on uncloaked.

No this is the only one I've watched.

I hope she is too, but equally mindful she's a model so must have some degree of resilience against criticism. That said it must have been tough viewing for her knowing the outcome and watching how the show had been edited and put together. It wasn't kind of flattering to her.

I've only just watched it on iPlayer. Fell asleep earlier. I'll catch up on the other thread later. But, oh my gosh, soooo close. I'm just devastated honestly. Must tell myself - it's just a game, it's just a game, it's just a game 😔

By more switched on, which was my phrase not his, I meant smart.

He lives a jet style lifestyle through his girlfriend who is a TV presenter I think.

However the money in The Traitors like many reality tv competition shows like it is always a thorny issue. Anyone can play. Even if they want the money, most go in because they want to play the game and it's about playing the game well.

The issue then comes in when it's close to the end and people are saying they deserve the money the most.

Ruminate2much · 27/01/2024 01:04

I feel very sorry for Mollie. Poor girl.

You're twisting everything I'm saying Grin
Wilf did have all the right ones round, and I can't remember if that was due to a lot of skill on his part or was at least partly lucky, but say it's skill.

My point was, a much wider scope of people liked and trusted Harry than they did Wilf in his season. Even Jaz clearly wasn't really convinced because otherwise he would have gone for it harder.

What were Harry's misogynistic comments @Checken ? Not that I don't believe you, I just can't remember.

I remember thinking Paul said the odd thing that sounded possibly misogynistic, but I can't specifically remember Harry doing that. Not that I thought he was a feminist ally however Grin

No, I don't think he's cerebral and super smart.

There's a middle ground, surely.

Can you give examples of what Harry said or did that made you think he was misogynistic?

By middle ground, I didn't mean between you and me.

I meant it doesn't mean it has to be a case of him being either dim or cerebral and super smart. I didn't say he was cerebral. I don't think he's an intellectual in that sense. But I do think he's a good logical thinker and strategist. But then you have to be to be a good engineer.

She comes out looking decent, genuine and a loyal friend though. I looked at her Instagram and she's done a lot for limb difference awareness and stoma awareness way before this. I really hope she gets more work from this.

Id love to see more of her on the TV. Her and Andrew are both such genuine souls and great disability advocates. I'd want to see more of them on screens aside from that as they are more than their disabilities, but they really are both extremely positive role models.

Ruminate2much · 27/01/2024 01:24

A Jaz and Mollie win would have been so wonderful. Hey ho. Not life or death 🤷

themusingsofaninsomniac · 27/01/2024 01:27

Bit harsh that people are pulling Harry down for his 'jet set lifestyle', I don't think it's exactly true, given that his girlfriend's brother is Conor Maynard. Rich friends maybe, but doesn't mean he is rolling in it.

I am sad that Harry and Mollie clearly aren't friends though. They both follow other cast members on Instagram but not each other.. I'm still hoping he gives her something, they both got as far as they did because of each other!

That’s a great suggestion!

I watched a US series with dd, I think it was called the Mole ? Where you, the viewer, don’t know who the Mole is until the end. It was good !
