All 5 are on Claudia's show I think.

I think they need to make the traitors take risks in order for rewards. This would then lead to breadcrumbs/ clues for the faithfuls to follow/ solve. At the moment it is really just a parlour game and the traitors have too great an advantage.

Yes, they should have more episodes like the dungeon one. The faithfuls didn't in general pick up the massive clue that gave them, but at least they had the opportunity.

AnImaginaryCat · 27/01/2024 10:33

Also can we talk about how sea sick a load of them were. What a disaster!!

It did amuse me how Andrew and Harry spoke about themselves (in the yellow chair) at that point.

Good job Harry didn't go for the navy 😀

MotherofGorgons · 27/01/2024 10:33

Or like the chalice one. Though felt sorry for Miles.

happinessischocolate · 27/01/2024 10:34

The only person who robbed Jas is Harry. He managed to convince them all he wasn't a traitor. Pretty much everyone would have voted Jas out rather than Harry.

Jas also had the problem that if he told Evie or Andrew his suspicions it would get back to Harry, and he'd spent so long getting Harry onside that he couldn't risk it.

No idea what would have happened if he'd voted Harry alongside Andrew? Would they have kept revoting until someone changed their mind? Or wasn't there mention of toss of a coin before? Not sure they could do that so close to the end though.

Jaz messed up voting g Andrew off before Harry, I think he realised immediately after he'd done it that he messed up as mollie would never vote Harry which could only mean Harry and mollie would vote jaz.

This!
Was shouting at the TV. He was so smart throughout but not in the moment.
Harry deserved it most, and also acknowledged in the Uncloaked afterwards that he'd benefited from a lot of luck too. Zack definitely wouldn't have done that!

I do not believe there was a brother and sister type relationship re. Harry and Molly, Molly is probably aiming for a tv career, and can see the wood for the trees.
She's not vulnerable perhaps she's not as worldly as most. Harry has street smarts, considering he joined the army at 16. Probably knows how to make allegiances and win people over.

However producers most likely were whispering in contestants ears, producers are ruthless. The BBC probably working overtime at damage limitation because civilians are vulnerable imo.

Claudia Winklemans clothes probably make up half the winning pot, to the manor born.

God I cannot stand the nature and manipulation of ordinary civilians by tv companies. Its unethical. Still love it though

They don't spend money on Claude's clothes - they are lent and returned. Claudia has spoken about asking for 5 more minutes in a particular coat that she loved.
The clothing companies basically get free advertising.

lizzowhiz · 27/01/2024 10:36

@happinessischocolate if Mollie had used an ounce of logic, she and Jas would have about 47k each. He'd be quite justified in feeling as robbed by her as by Harry

Oganesson118 · 27/01/2024 10:37

I didn't watch the final - I could see what was going to happen. I'd have watched on catch up if I'd been proved wrong. I knew Andrew was going to be offed especially after Ross's "half-Kieron" as I'm going to call it, and the fact Harry would throw anyone under the bus. Above all it was obvious that dopy Mollie couldn't see past her ridiculously obvious crush on Harry to actually listen to Jaz (the only faithful who talked sense throughout) - essentially handing Smug Boy the prize. Disappointed with the ending really. Everyone says Harry played a blinder but in hindsight I don't feel he had to do much at all, he just coasted through and never had to defend himself.

Willmafrockfit · 27/01/2024 10:37

on claudia's radio show now
fleetwood mac tell me lies!

I watch both The Traitors and Survivor, and S Asian men are always voted out first for being sneaky, unreliable, devious, patriarchal etc etc. As are older women. The pretty, young, malleable women always get into the final.

It shows how group prejudice works. Jas did well to survive into the final.

Choux · 27/01/2024 10:38

I do think Harry showed he never gave a shit about Mollie though the way he rubbed it in that he had always been a traitor and then “I hope Mollie didn’t hear that” when he was saying he was the best traitor in the world. Unpleasant. There’s no way he’ll give her the steam off his piss far less any money.

This! If the edit is accurate he kept eye contact with her even after Jaz was banished when he knew he had won, he had a slight smile on his face. There was no remorse or shame even as she smiled at him and said she was faithful. He then emphasized he was 'and always had been' a traitor. Cruel. And then shouted loudly outside that he was the best traitor in the world possibly when she was in the castle still. Arrogant and mean.

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 10:38

CaveMum · 27/01/2024 10:30

I didn't take Zach's comment on Uncloaked as a spoiler - remember it's pre recorded so they would just edit anything out. I thought he was referring to the fact that he had had several different theories that had been wrong and Faithfuls had been banished as a result.

and it has been said many times on these threads, when you are banished you do not know what happens afterwards - until it's aired.

napody · 27/01/2024 10:39

Flamme · 27/01/2024 10:15

If that had happened, it would have been two votes each and they would have tossed a coin. If that still resulted in Harry going out and revealing he was a traitor, I suspect that Jaz would still have voted to banish because he had his suspicions about Andrew, and there's a better chance that Mollie would have voted for Andrew.

Yes, this. Was Jaz's best chance. I guess he hoped Mollie would see the light right at the end. I think she might need therapy before embarking on a relationship! Jas started the series with trust issues and Mollie has probably acquired some!

Willmafrockfit · 27/01/2024 10:39

Evie given away secret, watch out for the quiet ones, very true

HUH?! "producers most likely were whispering in contestants ears, producers are ruthless. The BBC probably working overtime at damage limitation because civilians are vulnerable imo." Any evidence for any of these beliefs?

CaveMum · 27/01/2024 10:40

Jaz's wife on the phone!

CaveMum · 27/01/2024 10:41

Ha ha, Claudia playing "The Hanging Tree"

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 10:41

ffs, everyone listing all the possibilities and how obvious things were - it's amazing how viewers - who have had 4 weeks and plenty of time and know who the Traitors are - are able to deduce all this, and think Mollie is nuts for not working it out, knowing nearly 100K is at stake, with people staring at her, cameras on her etc etc

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 10:42

CaveMum · 27/01/2024 10:41

apparently this was played to them before every Round Table :D

There was something about the look on Mollies face when Jas told her before the round table he had something to say and to listen when it happened. Couldnt tell whether it was just blind trust (and lust!) for Harry, or a kind of distaste for Jas. I really hope it wasn't the latter but it kinda looked like it.

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 10:42

also - off topic! - isn't it really dangerous to light a log fire indoors if you don't have a flue/chimney?

CaveMum · 27/01/2024 10:42

@gabbyaggy as has been pointed out many times on these threads, any game show that involves a cash prize fund is heavily regulated to ensure there is no manipulation of the outcome.

yeah, she just kept with her "Ah, but I dont trust Jaz completely, I do trust Harry completely" thoughts, and kind of dismissed him
