What was the point of all that?

I thought that perhaps it was supposed to be a fantasy/dream that Bridget has while watching a romcom or something.
Both the pyjamas and Christmas jersey are pretty iconic in the film but would have wrecked a good rumba had they tried to dance in them.
Just my best guess though.

On the basis of your comments alone my votes would have done to Amanda (because you've made it sound lovely) Krishnan (because you've made it sound fun and because Lauren) and Jody (because it sounds like he's had a tough time)

I'll put SlebNikita and Zara in the danceoff. With Nikita to go and Gorka to do his pissy yet somehow relieved face. 😂

SlebNikita really didn't seem to put her all into the dance.
She spent far more effort on going on about how her confidence had been knocked and looking wobbly bottom-lipped.
I don't think the slebs get that the audience reacts far better to someone getting up and trying harder than welling up with tears. That could just be hard-hearted me, of course.
Obviously I'm someone who can't be faffed with the back stories or the "journey".
It's a dance contest not a "Who's got the frailest nan" contest.

I love his confidence. Even in week 1, he was performing independently and wasn't clinging to Diane for dear life like lots of the celebs do with their pros. You have to sell a dance and you can't do that without confidence, but he's clearly putting the work in too. I think he'll get to semi final at least

Difficult for Bobby not to be sometimes I think, being so tall he does tend to stand out a bit!

I couldn't stand Karim. I don't feel that same dislike for Bobby but I've not fully taken to him yet either.

I wasn’t happy to see Neil there considering his wife has only had a baby a few days ago….where are his priorities. I’d have been furious if my husband left me holding a brand new baby so soon after birth just so he could get his face on a TV screen.

1. He wasn't there last Saturday and I haven't seen any actual birth date announced. He could have been snuggling up with Chyna babymooning last weekend for all we know.
2. I had my own partner attend a gig when our firstborn was a week old and used that time to make spag bol for all my girlfriends that came over. Lots of parents nip in to the office for a few hours. Neil was there, so was Nadiya.

Think that next year Michelle should replace Karen, Nadiya should replace Luba and Neil should get a partner instead of either Graz or Gorka.

Thought the Rippon/Kai dance was a dated cringe-fest. Hope she goes soon. Nikita hasn’t got an ounce of rhythm. Bobby is my favourite. Very genuine

Agreed. Layton as Rizzo, wearing a dress and a woman's wig, looked like a man wearing a dress. I do wonder if he thinks he actually would pass as a woman?

Anyway, I don't think Nikita likes him. I imagine Layton doesn't like being told what to do.

He isn't popular with the voters, from what I can work out. He'll be in a dance-off soon, with any luck - and the judges will save him, week after week.

It will be Nikita I reckon. With Zara in the last 2 and gone next week. I think there’s a lot of public affection for Angela so she’ll be safe for some time.

I hope Nigel isn't in the Dance Off, I really don't want to watch his dance again and I usually absolutely love love him!
