I reckon Zara vs Nikita for the dance-off. In theory with so many ties on the leaderboard there could be an early upset, but we know that Nikita doesn't have much of a vote behind her and I assume that Ellie's lovely Encanto dance will have scooped up all the six-year old girl vote which might otherwise have gone to the pretty lady dressed as a pussy cat.

Adam and Angela R are also in real danger of the dance-off looking at the voting polls, but they'd both beat Nikita in a dance-off with their eyes closed. Kind of wish I'd slung a vote for Adam now, he has a puppyish enthusiasm and I don't want to see him crushed so early. Happy to see him crushed any time from next week on though: he's not actually any good.

Think Annabelle looks terrified she needs to relax and realise she’s got Johannes!
Loved Vito and Ellie, she’s a beautiful dancer those twirls then back into hold were amazing! Loved Angela Scanlon and Carlos they were so in sync.
Just me probably and although I like Eddie and Karen I didn’t think it deserved a 10, to me he was just slightly off the beat and I hated the music.
For me Nikita and Gorky were the poorest, she’s quite stompy at times.

I agree with just about everything that's been said about Layton in drag as Rizzo. She was my favourite character in the film and that song is deep and means a lot to any woman who's been slut shamed. Layton murdered that aspect of it and it was very much a "look at my pretty face as I emote!" performance. I hope that's the last drag costume they go for because it doesn't work.

Also agree re John and Johannes, it was the mixture of masculinity and vulnerability that worked so well with them. One could argue that Layton is very different to John and that would be right but in terms of glorious camp outrageousness, Johannes is the most glorious and he can bring masculine strength and vulnerability to the dance depending on what's required. Layton needs to learn to do that too. The twat.

Nor did he care - it was just his opportunity to put on a dress and heels.

Totally agree with the comments about Layton, and the contrast with John and Johannes. John was such a beautiful, masculine dancer. Their Blue Monday tango is one of my favourite routines ever

To be fair, characterising Rizzo within a VW and such a particularly swoony tune was always going to be a tough gig. Sassy, tough, sarcastic are not characteristics easily expressed through the medium of waltz.

Before they danced I told DS that they'd get a high score because CC always does, for no good reason at all.

To be honest there's loads of stuff that used to be frowned on, mostly by Len, illegal lifts, mouthing the words, counting, fucking about that have been allowed to slide and not for the better.

We haven't said enough about Krishnan 😁 I've loved watching him the past 2 weeks but that was one hell of an improvement tonight. Great swivel, great performance, much sharper and cleaner. He absolutely loves dancing and really puts his back into it. Bloody good for him

I usually love her, but Claudia was a complete plum for mortifying his son like that
