I couldn't see a thread about this, so have started one. Hope it is not a duplicate.

Have found it more and more saccharine but love the scenery.

And love reading comments.

Not a literal sacrifice, obviously - that wouldn’t really have been in the spirit of the Christmas special

Yes it was because the family needed the cat more than she did

I watched the Christmas episode last night. I found it a bit meh. All a bit plodding.

There was no heartwarming emotional moment, which I feel all Christmas specials should have, just the old predictable storyline of the pregnant character giving birth on Christmas Day.

So they’re now clearly paving the way for a romance between Siegfried and Mrs Hall. Was bound to happen I suppose.

The pub looked lovely and inviting though.
