But jacks not from Virgin River so why would his dad have been there?

Haha I just started rewatching and just saw that bit too (not envy). It'll be a cheap swizz and some new character we've never met or someone who is dead but their body is buried in VR. Think Lily's husband makes the most sense for a storyline and then would set up Chloe staying in VR maybe with Mel and Jack.

And I think incest is probably a step too far even for VR!

Or Doc Mullins, but if so he really needs to learn about contraception.

I only got as far as S2. I liked S1, felt a bit of a different Netflix series and I got a sense of the pace and the place. But just too slow and after a while I was getting bored. Jack's nasally, whiney voice I could only take so much of. I can't see me going back, not for me.

Maybe I have been spoilt on series like Ozark.

I don’t think Lizzie would give up her baby, that would be weird. I can see Mel taking Chloe though.

In reality her father could be:

Doc - take over the practise, good father daughter relationship

lilys husband - makes sense she takes the farm, adopts Chloe

nick - has the money to do whatever, seems a bit weird though

Also this horridly fast timeline means everything with Lily also happened really really fast!

How could Brie fall out of love with Brady so fast?

The timeline has blown my mind this season. It wasn’t the best season and I found it quite dull and the acting painful in bits. The scenery is gorgeous though.

I can’t get my head around the timelines and the fact that Charmaine still hasn’t had the babies. Everyone in and out of love in the matter of a few months.

Chloe had already moved to Seattle with Tara, so not sure how Mel could adopt her?

I really thought Mel had made a mistake with the ultrasound and would find out she was still pregnant. Agree with whoever said that Annette O’Toole’s acting can be so awful. I cringe sometimes when she’s in the scene. 🤣

I reckon they’ll come back 😂 Tara might not cope with a high powered job and being a single mum

Just finished the series. Still enjoy it even if it is very silly.

The main issue with Lizzie's possible pregnancy will be the Huntingtons - that's why Denny's face fell - there's a 50% chance he'd pass it on to any children.

I do love it, but the time line makes no sense! I will still watch it.

I was so hoping mel was wrong about the MC 😞

I hoped Mel was wrong too, partly because she did the ultrasound so quickly.

I was also wondering whether Calvin was old enough to be Mel's dad...
