Think it'll be Layton vs Angela, Angela to go. Bobby has played his trump card of his famous dead mum early and will go next week.

I personally don't think Bobby has saved himself with the CC we'll see

I originally thought Bobby might be in trouble, but after playing around with pen and paper even if he's bottom of the public vote I can't see a plausible permutation that puts him in the dance-off.

I think she means that Bobby and Dianne were second on the leader board which would mean they'd have to be right at the bottom of the public vote to end up in the dance off. Unlikely.

Angela as bottom of the leader board is an almost certain, Nigel was second bottom but seems to have a solid vote, next is Nikita and Layton.

I think Bobby could possibly be at the bottom of the public vote, but even so, I think he's safe.

Bobby has a minimum of 6 points combined. If he's going to be in the dance-off then everyone else apart from one other person needs to have seven points or more, which means that either Layton needs to be third or better in the public vote or Angela needs to be top. I just can't see it.

Had a look at the poll on the Spoiler page which would indicate an Angela and Layton Dance off.

Angela has a score of 3 and Layton has a score of 4 with the poll votes combined with leaderboard position.

Not confirmed yet though.

Oh, that's a shame about Angela.

I was secretly hoping before the show started, that Annabel would be the one to go. I know she's improved, but I find her Latin dances still very awkward. When the judges gave her scores, I knew she'd be safe.

Not sure whether I believe that Shirley would have saved Angela.

I wonder how Layton reacted to being in the dance-off.

He will be disappointed no doubt, which is fair enough.

To be honest, before the show started, I was expecting him to be an attention seeking diva, especially when he announced he wanted a same sex partner and the first male to dance in a dress.

However, as the show has progressed, my opinion of him has changed. He has handled the hate he gets on social media with dignity, and professionalism and just gets on with it.

He also seems to get on with the other contestants, or at least that is what I have observed.

The Cha Cha Cha is usually the kiss of death, can’t think of any that have been absolutely amazing. Angela did a great job but hard to come top of the leader board with that dance. Such a shame - bad timing for Angela as she deserved to stay on.

I don’t think she would have saved Angela.
Just like I don’t believe she would have saved Krishnan over Angela R when that vote took place.

It’s easy for her to appear to be “doing the right thing” when she knows the outcome is already decided.

I wonder if there will be public backlash about the fact Angela has been kicked out and the professional dancer kept in.

Okay her dance wasn’t good last night but at least she’s had a “journey” (hate that word) and has been improving which is what is supposed to be the ethos of the show and kicking her out in favour of Layton isn’t really in keeping with that.

@HeadAgainstWall0923 I guess that is why Shirley said she'd save Angela to make it look like she stood a chance against the professional dancer and an attempt to appease any fans that are unhappy that she had to go up against Layton 🤷🏻‍♀️

Its a shame for Angela. Layton will no doubt be saved again in DO in the next 2 weeks agaist Bobby and then Annabel until he reaches the final😂

I didn't vote for Layton as I hated the routine.
I will vote for him next week if his routine is good.
Angela's chacha was poor. I am only gutted as I was hoping for a King and I routine next week.

Poor Angela. I think she was let down by the choreo. I hated Layton's routine.

I thought Nigel might have been in the DO, but clearly he has his fans.

It's getting to the sharp end of the competition though where we are going to see good dancers go home. Still think it'll be a Layton Nigel Ellie final.

I don't usually go to the spoiler thread but couldn't wait as it was so tight. Sad to see Angela go as I wanted her to do a bit of Irish dancing maybe in her couples choice, but her cha cha cha wasn't great. I think it'll be Layton, Ellie and Nigel/Annabel in the final with Ellie to win.
