I'm loving the presence of Krishnan. When he is doing the big interviews on C4 News he has this habit of looking away from the interviewee briefly in an amost-eyerolling naughty schoolboy kind of a way. Now I know it is because he is thinking I SHOULD BE DANCING ! WHERE ARE MY SEQUINS. I'll be rooting for him, and for Amanda too because of the unfair criticism of her.

I really like a lot of them already. Les Dennis is an exceptionally nice man. I hope he does well.

Agree that Kai has been shoehorned into the Anton Du Beke role of having the older partner. Hopefully he'll do better with Angela than he did with Kay. Agree that Dianne always gets a "type" but I do have high hopes for Bobby Brazier. Still think my favourite is Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu, I didn;t like Carlos at all last year but I think Angela is great. Jowita having won last year has clearly been given one of the least favs this year.

I really disliked Giovanni in the early seasons, that D-E-B-B-I-E thing made me want to gouge my eyes out. And he made the dances all about him not his partner. But I liked him with Faye and Ranvir, and he was amazing with Rose.

As always, once announced, I can see the pairings are usually fair/not outlandish and tend to level the popularity stakes on the whole.
After the announcements were made, I was personally stanning Amanda and Nigel. I thought Nikita might be a decent punt.
After the What's your signature move? promo, I was still stanning Nigel but also loved Krishnan and thought Angela R looked decent.
After the pairings, my money's on Nigel, Nikita K, Angela S and Layton as the final four - with the latter two being judges' saves at some point.

Oh, was he? I only know him from Waterloo Road. In that case, if Luba doesn't screw it up, he'll make it to Blackpool I guess. There's probably overlap between who votes on these things. I'm tight so only use my online votes.
