Angela R vs Adam in dance-off, they unanimously saved Angela R (course they did).

No great surprise really.

No surprise at all. I hope Angela R goes next week. It’s boring now and she was ungracious last night when the judges were giving a critique.

Sorry for Adam, but I think he was struggling. Krishnan ( or Lauren),Bobby and Angela S need to up their game now.

I am sad to see Adam go as I really like him. Probably for the best though given his illhealth.

I would much rather have seen Angela R go or even Bobby

I'll be interested to see Angela's face when they announce that she's in the DO.

I'm also interested to see that in Dave Thorp's exit poll, Layton and Nikita are 6th - a long way lower down than the judges place them.

In fact they've consistently been low down for weeks now.

Once Angela Rippon and Angela Scanlon go, I can easily see a DO between Krishnan and Layton, then Bobby and Layton.

Layton is not popular.

I am sorry to see Adam go. I thought he was enthusiastic and good-humoured.

He did seem to be having some health problems though.

I thought Adam looked quite poorly yesterday. I said he looked like he'd been on the Night Nurse (not a euphemism!), very tired and quiet. It could be his RA, but Covid recently left me exhausted for a month, so I wondered if that was on the cards for him. He not one of my favourites but I felt sorry for him last night.

I loved Annabelle's dance, after trying to watch it through blinking tears away. Had my auntie's funeral this week and so still emotional 😢. I'd love Johannes to put his arm round me and call me, "my darling". It always sounds so sincere 😍

Just catching up on last night's, Shirley's outfit looks like something off Sesame Street.

Yes he'll be saved because he is a very competent (fully trained) dancer. But the public are not daft and even if he makes the final he will not win.

I would rather Angela R went. I loved Adams enthusiasm. I'm not a fan of Angela R and find her quite boring to watch.

And we will have “I don’t know why you’re in the dance off!”

Except we the public know why. We don’t like ringers.

With the scoring it could have gone the other way, had Anton saved him then Shirley's head vote counting.

So if danced the same, Craig and Motsi preferred Ange. Fair enough.
But Anton could have gone either way and Shirley's vote overriding.

I'd have saved Adam over Ange as I think she's gone as far as she can.
I hope she surprises me next week with a cracking paso.
If she gets AS next week then paso for Blackpool, then they obvs wanted to give her the Blackpool Bonus.

Could of course be Canny Kai picking out the path of least resistance.
Anyway, would have thought it's nailed on: Ange R versus Annabel in the DO next week?

have been running for years and years, originally co-ordinated by an informal rota of users who acted as intermediaries for whichever user happened to have a ticket that week. The core point-people stepped down as the result of aggro a couple of years ago.

This originally took the spoiler from the DS spoiler thread, but now sources it from a combination of random volunteers, the mysterious Juliet who runs a private Strictly Facebook fan page which often gets audience moles, and (if all else fails) an internal mole, presumably from the BBC, who can't get the spoiler until Sunday morning. His site is run as a one-man side hustle on gaffer tape and string, which is probably what you're referring to.

As a matter of courtesy to the place where it all started Dave always comes back to the DS spoiler thread each week to post the spoiler, whether from his source or Juliet's.

I suspect Adam probably did better in the public vote than Angela so it's a shame he doesn't get another week, she will be lucky to make it to Blackpool... although I suspect producers will be doing all they can to make sure it happens.

Will be interesting to see what dance she gets next week - predicting a couples' choice to avoid the salsa/samba/jive and get her to Blackpool. 🙄

All the polling suggests that Angela R is nailed on for the dance-off. But it's anybody's guess whether Krishnan or Bobby will be there with her.

Both Angela S and Annabel seem to have a lot of support, and because Ellie and Nigel have a solid vote the maths means that Layton is guaranteed safe even if he gets zero votes (which he won't).
