Bit of a lurker usually. This series is bonkers as per with the usual line up of drama queens and attention seekers, but I do enjoy watching along with this thread. It's been bugging me all week who Lady Laura reminds me of and I think it's Sandra Bernhard. That Luke guy is a total creep. As for Ella and Nathanial - this year's Thomas x2, except Thomas did at least have the occasional funny one-liner.

Who brings up and complains about their vows on their honeymoon? It felt very scripted (to me) with Laura going on about his lies - hardly a biggie and only a partial one - I wouldn't be surprised if later on in the series they wedge in a story line about her lack of trust and more lies. I would have thought a wife would give her non-native English speaking nervous husband a break and cut him some slack.

I wondered the same with Ella and Nathaniel when they both complained about how much calmer and natural they are together off camera. Is the production company feeding them "angles" to up the anti?

Ella was irritating from the start, when she did her speech at the hen party, where out of nowhere it was all "I've got a secret that I don't think any of you have guessed, and I'd like to tell my husband first. But you'll all find out." Attention seeking nonsense. There was no need to say anything at all

I don’t know many folk here in the wilds that have pumped up lips. If folk have, then the work is subtle.

Each to their own of course, but the daffy look isn’t for me. The constant licking and tongue fiddling is bizarre.

I love this show. So interesting watching how people behave. I think it takes a certain type to go on tv and marry a stranger and we see those types year after year. I think Ella is all bravado and very vulnerable underneath. It's all a show so people can reject her for being too much rather than the trans issue.

Ok so it's business as usual for mafs. A bunch of Instagram wannabees with a small sprinkling of poor sods actually looking for love. Loved that posh Thomas has a Scottish maw, "you're an eejjt" has been my personal highlight so far😂
