Fingers crossed for Jay and Luke, though I’m not sure you can two of those “personalities” in one relationship.
Already disliking Laura and her incorrect idea of poshness. I’ve seen enough women like that out on the prowl for a “posh” (rich) boy. Arthur seems sweet but doesn’t have a chance.

Anyhoo, I have just caught up now. LOVE the couple Jay and Luke. Dislike the woman in the other couple immensely so far (Laura was it?) He seems nice though. (Arthur.) Telling her he loves her was a bit though. Can't see them working. She is an insufferable snob.

I think there's a side to Laura we haven't seen yet, I think she feels quite vulnerable and her attitude is a guard. Arthur I don't think will take much crap. These two could be interesting.

I wonder if Laura and Arthur will be like Sophie and Jonathon last year.

Initially Sophie came across as really mercenary but she was actually very nice.

Jonathon came across as down to earth but ended up a bit of a drifter and lets not forget 'horse legs'

Jay and Luke are lovely, but they both seem very vulnerable and he’s clearly nursing a broken heart.

The distance will be a problem as they are both close to their families. He might get bored with her Friday nights down the local.

Laura is this year’s pantomime villain. Arthur seems quite mechanical and emotionless.

I swore I wouldn’t watch this again after last year’s slow motion car crash, but here I am.

Is this the first season where they haven't shown participants telling their friends and family they are getting married? We seem to be going straight in this time.

Laura definitely has the whole Whitney Vibes going on at the moment, and what on earth were those vows? Cringe! I have a feeling Arthur will not be one to put up with her snobbery.

Luke seems adorable and genuine. Jay seems like a good match, but the 'I'm a Singer' when asked if she liked music and then the Karaoke at the reception 🤣🤣 bless her!

Her reaction to the best man's speech was interesting. Shows that she's perhaps more willing to give Arthur a chance then her "high-maintenance champagne girl" act would imply.

But I'm not sure Arthur will pick up on all the nuances.

I think I agree on Jay and Luke. Neither of them is going to want to be the less funny/banter one of the pair, but one of them is bound to get tired of it before the other.

Every double act has a funny man and a straight man for a reason.

Just watched it. All I can say is it’s shaping up to be better than last year. I’ll forgive it anything as long as I don’t have to deal with another Thomas.

😆 She was like a drunk pub singer. You could tell though, that she thought she sounded like Anne Wilson from 'Heart.'

She is very attractive (physically!) Reminds me a tad of Ekin-Su from Love Island.
