Survivor (UK) is coming back!

We love the Australian Survivor, and am so excited to see the UK one is coming back.

Presented by Joel Dommet, on BBC so no adverts. Dom Republic.

Nathan was a threat because of the people on the jury. They would have picked him over Chris or Matt and probably over Hannah and Leilani, the only one who could possibly beat him is Peg

I get that at this stage, but people were saying it all along when the focus was more about who was good at tasks. I think people assume because he’s male and buff, but he wasn’t brilliant.

I love Chris. He actually wins challenges and seems sharper than the rest. Nathan was not that bright but assumed being an over inflated beefcake would be enough.

Why do people want Pegleg to win?

I've just rewatched the trailer for Saturdays episodes and agree no forearm is shown and judging by the reactions I reckon Matt goes.

i like Chris. He’s outplaying all of them and is really good in the challenges

will be a shame if the people he outsmarted along the way stop him getting the prize money (which we all know is likely to happen)

Me too. Given the whole premise of Survivor with outplay, outwit, outlast then Chris is the most deserving one of the bunch. Well apart from the muppetry with the lobster box key/immunity idol, and that wasn't really his fault (apart from choosing to trust an idiot!)

Assuming the reaction shown is at the time and not edited to look different.

I think it's Matt because Ash looks at Tinuke for a reaction, Tinuke and Nathan are both poker face serious. That to me is reaction to someone who betrayed you, who's now getting his comeuppance. They have no reason to be so straight faced over Chris, or anyone else.

I do agree about Chris being the worthy winner, he's a pain in the arse but he's certainly had to do everything to survive. I need a reminder about what he did to piss them all off so much.

Yes I also don’t really understand why they all dislike Chris so much. Maybe he is a real pain in the arse but it’s softened with the editing.
Pegleg is such an admirable man in many ways but I’m not supporting him for the win because he wanted to kick out all women (he was a follower of Lee’s plan). Lee’s gurning and faces whilst a member of the jury really annoy me. He is such an angry guy.

I think they blamed him for getting someone voted off before Lee went. And they can't get over it. Which is mental, as that's how you play the game.

Yes, Lee annoys me with his seeming belief that he is still influencing his followers from the jury bench. I suspect with his macho lifestyle he may not have had much exposure to flamboyant leopard-print-wearing types like Chris.

I enjoy watching Doug's reactions on the jury bench - he is very expressive.

To be honest most of the final five haven't done much to deserve the money. Chris and Pegleg have both had good challenge wins. I suspect one of them may win the final immunity. I wonder how much some of the jury have changed their minds on what a good guy Matty is since he offed Tinuke. Hannah and Leilani are just boring, I'm afraid, which saddens me as they are the surviving female representation.

I do wonder if the jury would say to, e.g., Hannah, "you really haven't done much to deserve this money except flying under the radar, but we're going to give it to you anyway because we loathe Chris??!!!"

God if Hannah wins it really will just kill the UK show off totally wouldn't it?!

I think the Brits don't do this game play stuff in the same way as the Aussies and the Americans who are utterly vicious and don't think anything of it. Brits have to try to be polite about it and can't cope when someone gets into the spirit of the game and actually starts playing because it's almost impolite and so counter to our culture.

If Hannah wins it will put such a dampener on the final! Same for Leilani, she doesn’t do well in the challenges and is also not strategic. She gets very involved in friendships/ alliances and forgets about the game.
@SwedishEdith I agree about Nathan. He is a pile of muscles but never did that well in the challenges even after he said that he “had kept a bit in reserve and was now going to give it is all”.

So Pegleg's comment about "cant vote for one the girls" means he's now going to vote Hannah! Well let's hope Leilani is in the final as surely no one could think she deserves it?

Sad for Pegleg but I knew it would be him in that previous trailer when they showed the hand holding the torch and you could see the tattoo on his arm.
