I really enjoyed this series. It's a shame they are doing a celeb version. I much prefer normal people.

I wouldn't have minded who won. I liked all the three finalists.

M + Z left them in a shop or cafe or something and L + M left them with the couple they got a lift from the ferry with.

Monique and Ladi left them in the car with the person who gave them the lift.

Zainib and Mobeen left them in a cafe/shop whatever it was

I bet Amanda Holden is on the celeb version
Or someone who used to be on Eastenders

It'll be people who can afford to go there on holiday anyway I bet :(
Just have the public, not more egos on the go pretending to be nice !

I haven’t seen this show before but I’m really happy for T and C! Tbf all three teams were fab, especially Ladi who seems like a great chap all round. But I am pleased Trish and Cathie carried on being positive and kept each other going - that trek up the steps looked really knackering!

I guess when you have conquered that epic journey and gone through highs and lows, they're just really supportive of each other. Just showing their support.

IVF is narcissistic now? OK person who's never had kids, good to know 🙄

Thanks for posting that MouseTime - Cathie and Trish almost 2 hours ahead - I'm pleased for them.

The challenges faced by modern adopters bear absolutely no relation to historical UK adoption but classic MN ignorance strikes again.

Is it me or do Cathie and Tricia seem very close and touchy and longing looks in each others eyes. A little more than friends.

Was really impressed with Trisha and Cathie winning - a very wiley pair!

I know a lot of it's editing but I didn't really warm to them as much as the other two couples by the end and would personally have preferred different winners. But all credit to them.

DH and I seriously considered entering but after Series 2 it seemed you needed a back story and we didn't have one. Turned out our own infertility might have "counted". Hmm.

Sad it's over.

Oh I really hope they don't do a celeb version, that would just ruin it. It's really about the relationships and that would be lost in a celeb version.

I think I spent this episode switching between who I wanted to win and in the end didn't much care. They would all have been worthy winners.

They've done it. It's filmed and on the way.

Might be the celeb with one of their family or something like that

So pleased for Cathie and Trish, they were careful with money, didn’t go for the taxi option and least fit/most encumbered. I was so worried they’d all be rushing round St John’s and up those steps with minutes between teams when they’d have been so disadvantaged

I think they would all have been worthy winners. And (whilst being filmed anyway), they were all magnanimous losers.
