Ben is clearly struggling a lot. It's understandable, but a lot he brings on himself too.
I hate the character, but an ED is awful and I'm sure he won't cope with it that well ( if it is this )

The trouble is, i feel a bit 'whatever' about Ben, he handles things so badly, over and over again and never learns.. its so predictable

Chelsea is a fantastic character and a good role model too. She had turned her life around and made good. Wise and kind.

I didn't understand the final scene with Ben at the pub toilet sink. What were we supposed to be thinking?
The actor who plays him is looking more gaunt in the face, so maybe the topic of male anorexia (as done by Hollyoaks very recently).

I took the sink bit to mean he's in inner turmoil, has been increasingly using purging to cope, it's all accelerated since he heard about Lewis, and the Jay/Lexi stuff, he'd just vomited and was washing up before heading back to play Reformed Ben for the others.

(Also handy plot device for him being near a mirror to moodily stare into, filled with self-loathing?)

EDs often happen when someone feels they have little or no control in life, so the bulimia SL would fit.
