I went to one of the recordings of this season but haven’t seen that episode yet.

In the breaks they have a compare to chat with the audience and I mentioned the mumsnet thread where people were discussing what they thought Greg Davies is like in bed (consensus was dirty!)

I didn’t realise that Greg was standing at back of the room (I thought he was backstage) and he said he had read it and loved that thread!

Later he did a bit where he did a shout out to mumsnet. So will be interested to see if that makes it in the show.

Iain Stirling was too competitive and almost ruined that season for me!

I thought the same. He tried too hard to be funny/shouty but failed miserably. Another one I found really annoying was Russell Howard. Thank goodness for Liza Tarbuck and Tim Vine in that one. I don’t think Liza had much patience with RH, especially when she told him to get in touch with his agent, after his complaint about a task; and he had already phoned him for help on an earlier task.
Tim Vine was hysterically funny when he “lost” the hook on his epaulette and couldn’t find it. We were hurting laughing at that and Liza and Alex and the cake takes some beating.

Re Ivo - someone mentioned him doing a race / pushing his mum in her wheelchair to raise money for MS. Just listened to the podcast of him standing in for Elis James with John Robins - he’s also doing the London marathon with some other family members.

New to TM, really enjoying it. Just watched the latest series 3 episodes. Surprised that Frankie Boyle is fine in this, Jenny is fab and has some clever solutions, Ivo is making me laugh as is Kiell. Mae is really good and looks hard to beat.

Can someone recommend another series of TM for me to watch? Is there a stand out series, a really funny one? TIA.

Definitely watch all of them, but the series with Rhod Gilbert is extra good because he’s close friends with Greg

We're watching the Rhod Gilbert one at the moment as DS1 loves James Acaster. It's very clear that Greg and Rhod are good friends 😂

I’m think he’s on the Stand Up to Cancer celebrity Bake-Off tomorrow night. I just love him.

Hated his farting task, though.

He’s amazing on Greg’s sitcom Man Down (it’s on Netflix). Róisín Conaty is in it too and is brilliant.

All episodes have appeared via Sky available to download now. We started at series 1 but turned it off to go to later series. It seemed really slow!

What I would like to see at the end of each series is an episode of the tasks they never used (the tie breakers, any that they had to cut for length, etc) and the funny little details like last series’ when John Kearns revealed on TM podcast about the “genie” that they never showed on the tv broadcast!

agree that this combo is a really nice line up, there have been some which I haven’t had a great vibe from although have watched them all several times.

I can appreciate some people don't like her, I think she's a love her or hate her sort.

Should have suggested Bob mortimer instead, everyone loves Bob.

I think one of the funniest tasks was the cement mixer one in series 13

We went a few years ago. If you do get tickets, make sure you get there early! Tickets don't guarantee entry and they overbook. We got there for the time they told us to and we couldn't get in. Luckily they film 2 episodes a day so we managed to get tickets for the later show and we got in.
