New Taskmaster- anyone watching?

I know he's controversial but I do love Frankie Boyle...

Seems to be shaping up quite nicely so far - liking all the contestants. Even Frankie Boyle, who I don’t normally have much time for.

Best show on TV.

I think Mae will win. Kiell second, then Ivo, and Frankie and Jenny fighting for last.

I am watching. Not going to lie it always takes me a few episodes to get into it when I don't know who they all are (only Jenny and Frankie this time) but I love Mae already (having not really heard of them before) and want them to win

First time I’ve heard of all of them. Really enjoyed the first one , especially the barge one! Love Ivo and Mae especially. Didn’t actually mind Frankie Boyle either.

Watching it as it’s one of my favourite shows, despite the fact that I can’t abide that misogynistic tw*t Frankie Boyle.

The silent dancing task was hilarious, and apparently purely because they didn’t want to pay for the rights to broadcast the songs 🤣

The string task was classic TM.

I’m listening to the TM podcast this morning which has Dara O’Brien talking last night’s episode through with Ed.

I really dislike Frankie Boyle but I’m going to watch and see how it goes , last night was fine . I don’t much care for Jenni Eclair either .

I'm enjoying it so far, even though I've only just heard of Frankie Boyle and Jenny Eclair ,but know very little about them ,and not heard of the other three.

It still made me laugh a lot

I quite like Ivo and Mae. I take it Mae likes non-binary pronouns rather than female, given how Alex and Greg talked about them. And is Canadian. Ivo just seemed quite good natured generally. Jenny seemed a little try-hard, but still funny. I really liked Kiell too, so full of confidence but at the same time quite enjoyable to watch, rather than hoping for his comeuppance, so he must have done something right.

I'm watching! I mentioned before that I went to one of the recordings. Not sure which episode it was. So I'm interested to see how it has been edited.

I thought frankie looked like Eddie Izzard when dressed as a bride 😄

It always takes me a while to settle into a new series but watched this tonight and think it's going to be a good un! Mae was great and I really liked Kiell who was the only one I hadn't heard of before. Mae for the win!

Anyone who has never seen Kiell before needs to watch BBC comedy “Ghosts”. One of the best shows of recent years, written by (and co-starring) the original actors from Horrible Histories.

I love Jenny. I'm going to enjoy her banter with Greg.

Loving this series! Knew Kiell from ghosts and he is not disappointing 😃 The glove on a foot was great. I’m liking the tasks too. Sometimes they’ve felt a bit ‘we’ve done something similar that worked’ Poor Ivo, it was obvious Frankie had no idea who he was.
