Is anyone else a Yellowjackets fan? I think season 2 will be released soon. I’m currently re-watching season 1 because I think I probably missed a lot. But it would be good to have done watching buddies.

Thank you!! I read episode 1 will be released on 26th March, so 10 days away, but will be shown 2 days earlier on Showtime.

I liked season 1 but did find the time leaps a bit confusing. Working out which teen was which adult.

I loved Yellowjacket's season 1!! I really like the actresses in it that play the older versions of the girls. Excited!! remember what happened at end of season 1 though 🤔

Did anyone else notice an actress who looked like Van in the trailer for season 2?? I really love her. I still want to know who was chased down and killed and eaten(?) in the opening scene. She was wearing Jackie's necklace. Also what happened to Shauna's baby. I have a million questions actually!!

Series 2 starts streaming today! I’ve just binge watched S1 for the second time and enjoyed it more as I could relax into it. I absolutely love the cast - both 1996 and 2021 - I almost don’t care about the story, it’s just so watchable.

Looking forward to seeing Van, and seeing them rescued. And more Misty!!

Just about to watch episode 1!

Really looking forward to the new series, the reviews have been excellent. I think I’m going to need a refresher about where we’re up to, hope they do a recap. Think this is one of the first series I’ve watched where it totally captures my era, I was 17 in 1996 and it’s cool seeing them then and now also, a lot resonates.

Is it going to be on normal sky? I loved the 1st series but really don't want to pay for Paramount as well.

While rewatching the first series on sky, the ads for series 2 said accessible on paramount+ but free to those with a sky cinema subscription

I'm in Tokyo, so I was hoping they'd be uploaded to UNEXT, but they haven't been yet, so I have to wait. I could try and sign up for Paramount plus using a VPN, but I will wait for now and come back. I'm glad to hear it has good reviews though. Some shows go a bit rubbish in their second season.

Anyone watched the first two episodes? Opinions? Bit disturbed after the last one.

I feel like it’s lost it’s way a bit - the first series told a definitive story, albeit with time jumps. This one I’m not really sure what’s going on in the present and it seems to have got whole lot more mystical - I hope it’s not going to go down the Lost route. The storylines seem to have stalled, and the introduction of Lottie as an adult hasn’t added much. Hope it picks up a stronger thread - my DH has already said he’s bowing out of watching!

Agree adult Lottie is not doing it for me, can’t connect her to young Lottie; she’s too together and angular in terms of physical attributes/personality. Cold on all things Tai too, just don’t get it.

Feel the Shauna and Adam affair was done away with far too soon so much more could have been explored with that and he had more charisma than Jeff and the terrible daughter combined…. (Notable Jeff rocking out to Papa Roach being the exception loved that)
Never mind new detective sidekick looks like Jeff’s brother so he will have to suffice. In an aside HOW was it possible for Adam to have an affair and create about 10 canvas paintings + in a 2 week period, amazing!!

Always imagined they would turn to cannabalism in a sort of resigned way with one person having to agonise over it… was shocked how things played out and had trouble sleeping after! I was literally like Coach Ben - horrified!! (I bet he’s thinking - I’m next as can’t run away!!)

Shauna’s lack of emotion with later crimes makes sense now as she’s so integral to horrendous things happening, I like the juxtaposition of this to her Susie homemaker persona. She’s always cooking isn’t she. Acting from Shauna young and old on point.

Still loving both Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher as Natalie. And hurrah for Christina Ricci and Elijah Wood combo - genius, I think that will keep me watching.

I took out a paramount subscription for this and after the horror I was a bit like - I want to cancel - however there are a few other things I’d like to see so will probably keep dipping in and out… annoying they don’t drop all the episodes at once.

I feel like I should have been more shocked at the cannibalism 😁. They were starving in the wilderness and I did think at the time they’re wasting a lot of food by cremating Jackie! Living with having done that must be fucked up though, I’m surprised they’re as functional as they are in the present. Hadn’t thought about it, but yes, not looking so good for coach Ben!
