Ah there'd also have been armed guards everywhere but he had to get out somehow. I quite liked the simplicity of a minor scuffle allowing him to jump over the guards and just run out. Bet they'll be some lessons to be learnt in Leeds Crown Court after this.

I still think the teacher has some connection with the drugs gang. Grooming pupils to supply drugs. How did Joanna become addicted? And his huge over-reaction when he caught her with non-prescription diazepam? And the locked cupboards and garage.

I've also forgotten why the drug barons are involved in getting TLR out of prison. I know he admitted to that headless corpse found at the beginning when infact he didn't do it, so is that his reward?

The drugs oafs speak another language because they are immigrants and have (?) Romanian parents. They were probably brought up in England hence the Yorkshire accent.

I don't think they'd want the final series to end on such a dark note. I hope they don't at least.

Maybe the Knesevics will do a Goggoski on TLR. He might know too much and as the attack in prison failed maybe they've sprung him to finish him off themselves. Bit farfetched but so was Faisal stuffing Jo in a suitcase.

Just watched back the bit where Neil is telling Ryan he doesn't think he should visit any more. He seems to be really take it all in, even though he does go to court I wonder if it was to see for real what he'd done (even if he hadn't this time)

That's kind of my point. Catherine has never said that TLR is Ryan's dad. She's always said the opposite, that he isn't. There's never been a dna test.

Remember back in season one, TLR is fresh out of prison, at his mum's house and his mum said "Becky had a kid--is it yours?" Next thing you know, TLR is stalking the school and sees Catherine collecting Ryan and commences stalking. It all escalated from there.

I think gang rape or pimping would cover why Catherine has been so insistent that TLR isn't Ryan's dad, as well as the "things she's never told anyone" that contributed to Becky's suicide.

Hoping someone can answer a (possibly) really daft question (only cos it's bothering me probably too much lol):

How did TLR get such an elaborate tattoo with Ryan's name on it? He didn't know about him until s1 and went to prison straight after that....?

Also....just rewatched the trailer. There's a very, very brief scene whereby all of the coppers in the nick are rushing off in an emergency. Might suggest that Catherine ends up in another 'code zero' situation?

I thought it was a bit fancy for a prison tattoo @Twatling but they've got, phones, hair clippers, tuna galore so why not tattoo equipment?

I think they might use Ryan as bait to set a trap for TLR. And then Ryan might see TLR shot by Anne. 🤷‍♀️

I haven't seen the trailer @Twatling but is it when they were all rushing out to arrest whatshisface last week and it was a race to see if they'd get there before Tweedledee and Tweedledum?

One of the original trailers for series 3 showed Ann shouting at Ryan that 'he's using you and you're letting him!'. I can't see how that can come up in the last 2 episodes unless Royce is asking him to help on the run but why ask him when he knows who his granny is.
