Starts today 16/1 at 5pm channel4.

New age range this year which makes a lot of sense.

Hope it's good, I do like Liam and Rav as judges.

Too posh?

He's a brilliant baker though. Def the one to beat this year.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/02/2023 02:20

I'll eat my shoes if Thomas doesn't win.

Ellmau · 01/02/2023 20:49

They are incredibly talented.

All the cookie stacks would have been amazing if they'd had a bit more time to allow things to set.

Belledan1 · 01/02/2023 21:25

As Harry says they wouldn't help each other in the adult one. I love it. Harry can be funny in parts. Glad changed age range.

ChessieFL · 02/02/2023 06:13

I’ve seen people help each other in the adult one.

It’s weird that of the final five, only one is from week 1 and the ones from week 2 are all still there! Maybe they did deliberately put the slightly better bakers in week 2 for some obscure reason.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/02/2023 17:33

Thomas is a bit insufferable today. Hope someone else gets a chance at Star baker.

JaneJeffer · 02/02/2023 17:44

He's so good though!

Toddlerteaplease · 02/02/2023 17:56

Well done Maya!

JaneJeffer · 02/02/2023 18:00

Annabel's punctured basketballs Grin she's been spending too much time with Harry

JaneJeffer · 02/02/2023 18:01

The Ferrero Rocher things looked yummy

schloss · 02/02/2023 21:48

Thomas looks like Joe Root!

JaneJeffer · 02/02/2023 21:52

Had to google. Yes he does.

schloss · 02/02/2023 21:56

I acually googled to check Thomas wasn't his son when first seeing him on Junior Bake Off!

PinotGroggio · 02/02/2023 22:51

An Sofia was so sweet. Such a shame her entremots weren't quite there. Good on Mya though, and past bake-offs have shown that it's anybody's to win in the final so Thomas better not get too cocky!

Seriously, where did they find him? He sounds like a child from the 1920s!

JaneJeffer · 02/02/2023 22:59

Aww I like him. He was really pleased for Amelia when she got second in the technical.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/02/2023 12:20

I like him but he's very much dominated the show.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/02/2023 12:20

They all seem
Like lovely kids.

martinisforeveryone · 03/02/2023 12:31

I've known of the Bake Off programmes since the very early days, but never actually watched more than a few minutes of any of them. Last week I happened to see JBO as it came on in the late afternoon and I stuck with it. I think just because the children seemed so lovely. They've all tried hard, taken the knock backs well and been very supportive of each other. Some of the challenges have been really hard and they've obviously learnt a lot.

It was filmed last summer wasn't it, any idea how long it took? it must have been quite intense.

It isn't his fault that they edit it that way. He is the most interesting person in the tent because he is incredibly posh. A bit like Jacob Rees Mogg used to stand out on the front bench.

JaneJeffer · 03/02/2023 17:27

Oh God don't compare him to JRM 😱

AnneElliotfanclub · 03/02/2023 17:46

So who is going to win?

JaneJeffer · 03/02/2023 17:49

Mya's mum looks so young

PinotGroggio · 03/02/2023 17:49

I just said the same @JaneJeffer!

JaneJeffer · 03/02/2023 17:54

I think Mya's cake looked the nicest, really fluffy but Amelia's decoration was amazing.

JaneJeffer · 03/02/2023 17:56

Well done Amelia!
