Where do we think it's going to go? I predict:

Serena-fully fledged handmaid who will get her comeuppance and be made to pay for her 'disobedience'
June- Will end up in Bethlehem, realise it's a terrible mistake but be unable to leave
Hannah-won't want to leave Gilead as it's all she knows
Lawrence/Nick-Dead and on the wall
Naomi-colonies? Handmaid?
Janine-Lydias sidekick?

I am not as involved but still interested enough to see what happens next.

It’s possible that Canada is having hard times … and they are taking more refugees than any other country. Plus a bunch of them were waving guns about at a demonstration. I could imagine that upsetting the Canadians.

I think Hannah gets out but at huge cost, friends die, she HATES Luke and June for this and wants nothing to do with them. She is now a teenager or nearly, she may well have had a pretty nice life except for horrible events that she links with June...

Anti-refuge protesters get more violent, someone we like gets killed, big shock.

Lydia shows us she's had enough of Gilead, someone goes too far for her..

I dunno, I have read the books and I don't know how closely linked it might be, so thats colouring my view somewhat (but then not because I don't think so far it has been).

I'd like to see Serena forced to be a handmaid and truly realising the horror, but then i dont because i really don't want to wish that even on a fictional character.

Sorry to say I think it is a shame this thread has been started early. Now there are comments on both threads which aren't being shared.

Couldn't it have waited until it was only 2 posts off.
