Holy shit that was good!

I was shouting 'run Serena! Just run! Go!' how the hell am I on team Serena?! She's a hell of an actress, so so good. And that shot with her framed by the door behind with EXIT above her head was beautifully done.

Minor question, what on earth was that artwork she walked past when she went to charm Wheeler into letting her go to the reception? Did anyone else think it looked like bodies on The Wall?!

God I hope Emma's OK and it was just the flag that was hit. Do you think that'll be the catalyst for her and Luke to decide New Bethlehem is a goer? I don't know if I want them to go or not (from a storyline pov). And I'm not sure how Luke would fare even in Gilead-lite. He's not had to hone his self preservation instinct like June.

Such great writing and acting that makes us cheer on Serena!

Not sure what the deal was with the Nick/June scene........ was that them sort of saying "it's over"? (Not that it was ever really going anywhere)

What a fantastic episode. Can’t wait for tomorrow now but sad it’s all coming to an end.

Agree with PP, I also found myself rooting for Serena tonight! The characters are so multidimensional and I love that about the show. There are some real ‘baddies’, like Warren, but almost all have various shades to their character which makes it so watchable - even those who have done such evil at times like Lydia and Lawrence.

It’s an incredible series. I’ve found this one different from a cinematography perspective from the previous series which could be quite breath-taking with the imagery but as this is less focussed in Gilead it makes sense that this has changed for this series.
I can’t believe I don’t know many people IRL who watch it!

I did wonder if the Martha woukd turn out to be a Mayday member and that there would be something in the bag telling Serena to go out the exit to an awaiting car of something. Slightly disappointed she wasn't but she may have had a hand in giving her an opportunity to escape.

Just been watching on catch-up - tonight's episode was great. I was also shouting at the tv for Serena to just make a run for it! I can't see how anything much is going to get resolved in just one more episode...

TBH I can't see how they're going to wrap the whole thing up next season. There are a lot of loose ends! We've not even seen Janine for ages.

I'm assuming June will go back to Gilead at some point to get Hannah.

I wonder if Commander Lawrence sent June the dvd with Hannah's location on it?

And there's been nothing a out the thumb drive which June & Luke bought back....

Well I was way off with the idea that Hannah barely remembers June and Luke and what she does remember is just horribleness I think, if shes remembering her old name and hanging on to it...

I loved seeing Hannah write her name…a true bit of rebellion. Gave us an insight into her character (a fighter like her mother perhaps?)

I’m gutted at the thought that Lawrence set up the whole thing? Watching he and Naomi together was cringe inducing!

And the shooting…was that as a result of Commander McKenzie saying they should take out June?

And Serena!!! Go Serena….but where on earth can she go?

Sad it comes to an end tonight,...for now !

Looking forward to tonight's, but really wish it was a final one with all the ends neatly wrapped up. Not likely if there's another series ahead.

I have been wondering where Serena is getting all her nice non-Gilead clothes from? Because surely she has no money of her own now in her situation in Canada?

My heart was thumping when Serena made her escape. I am worried about the Martha though and whether she might get into trouble. I wonder where Serena will go and whether she can claim asylum.

I wonder whether Hannah wrote Hannah because that is the only name she can spell. She wouldn’t have been taught how to spell Agnes.

I think Serena will end up back with June somehow....

I think so too, she literally doesn't have anywhere else to go for help except to June or Tuello. I don't see her to be the hiding out in a bunker type.

She needs to ditch that nappy bag though, I bet it's tracked. Perhaps they've even GPS tagged little Noah.
