If dodgy man with van knows Bernie, and he seemed to know her well because he asked after Apollo and Gemini, how on earth did he mistake her for Fern? Was he driving around looking for Fern, and was lucky enough to try Coronation St, or was he passing that way and happened to spot her, or at least think he did. It doesn't make any sense.
And why would Fern arrange to meet her ex in a car park, wouldn't they meet in a pub, or a restaurant. Utter nonsense.
