Wasnt aware it was different for women in the 60 s! Was it something to do with Queen Victoria not accepting that women could love other women ? The laws were not the same as the men ?

The Queen Victoria thing is what I'd heard but was never sure if it was true or just a myth.

The armed forces had "turned a blind eye" since 2000 apparently but the actual law was lifted very late. I know someone who got compensation from them because they were made to leave.

I don't like mick and Linda together. I find their relationship quite toxic. I'm still watching yesterdays episode but Linda's out on a date and he wants to go over there and see...he unsettles her...it seems like some weird sort of control...

I sort of assumed they wouldn't have a funeral for Dot in Walford, more likely to say it'll be in Ireland so a few of the cast can be away for it whilst in panto maybe? I've no idea though! Agree the kitchen thing was weird - a pregnant woman with possible placenta abruption shouldn't be throwing herself around like that surely? I think she'll lose the baby somehow and maybe try and blame Linda for it (although that was done with Stacey and Ruby quite recently ish) talking of which do we think Ruby could show up at Christmas with Martins baby? No spoilers here btw - I don't read them!
