Is Sonia going to be the new Dot? I forgot she was a lesbian...in that last scene I was like I hope she finds a nice husband because she's going to be quite lonely. But yeah I hope she does get with Ash. She deserves some happiness instead of being there for everybody.

Sonia is bisexual I believe. The writers seem to struggle with having actual lesbian characters who only sleep with women and manage to avoid being seduced by the power of the mighty penis. Eve is the first one I think. Although, knowing EE they'll have her shagging Nish at some point🙄

I'm thinking Nish has cottoned on to there being something going on between Suki and Eve and it's his sly way of getting Eve on board saying can she keep an eye on his wife for him! Whilst she thinks she is being clever herself for getting Nish on board lol 😆

i know its story writing, but the bit with Amy posting the Dot pic annoyed me, you cant tell me in this day and age that she wouldn't have locked her socials down to stop randoms posting bullying/abusive shit on her posts.

I like Nish, but it's always the good looking men that are horrible on EE.
I rather hoped that Linda's date might become a permanent fixture, but his gone already.
There isnt much eye candy on the square
Ravi isn't my type. too young as well.
Rocky is a ' sliver Fox' but too dodgy for me plus his bound to get married and his wife will show up. Never fancied Mick, although I can see why women love him

So unrealistic though! I’m a nurse and no way would I (a) work at the Gp I’m with (don’t want to discuss patients with a GP one minute, then ask if I could be checked for piles the next) and (b) work in a practice where I know most of the patients socially (for much the same reason as (a). Just doesn’t sit right. But of course no one from Albert Square could possibly travel to work!

I like how they shoehorn newsworthy stuff in…..even that Jill Scott was in I’m a Celebrity!

I think they do the same thing with male gay characters. Ben fathered a child. Steven (Ian’s stepson) was gay and then had relationships with women. There was the guy a few years back who got married and then ran off with Christian (Sayeed?) Calum almost married Whitney. I half expect Mick’s gay son, whose name completely escapes me, to turn up with a wife and 3 kids.

But I agree most soaps including EE do not seem able to cast Lesbian characters who do not fall for a man at some point. Sonia has always confused me tbh, didn’t she fall back in love with Martin a couple of years back?!
