It must be hard to give it up. I feel like Rafa is probably a lot more 'one track minded' about tennis than some others- although he does do a lot off court, hobbies wise- very into his golf .
Now he has a baby, his priorities may change. Be interesting to see what Roger does next.

I think some players are probably really glad to be off the treadmill of the tour- it's great for those making the big money- but the lockdowns showed it's really not great for the ones at the other end who plug away week in and week out for not much cash. Tomas had a very good career- did enough, without too much pressure.

I'm not saying he will win this, (still early days) but it's a shame this wasn't Rafa's first Round robin match- it might have set him up better for the others.
