New 6 part drama. Series 1 was good - thread here

not sure if s2 carries on or completely new story /characters as the names don’t ring a bell

Christine’s family, oldest son Will (Lloyd Everitt), youngest son Jamie (Aaron Anthony) and daughter Megan (Mali Ann Rees), are trying to get on with their lives after the recent tragic death of their brother Liam.

As they look forward to Megan’s wedding, the family have their lives turned upside down when a stranger, Connor (Jordan Wilks), arrives in town claiming a connection that nobody could have imagined.

As buried secrets come to light, they must consider who they are and grapple with morality and divided loyalty. As their lives spiral out of control, a terrible pact may be all that can save them.

Mr Google is obviously not my friend then today 🙃

Not today!

It is confusing though having the same actress as a different character.

Especially if like me you just dive in & watch & haven't read the Radio Times or anything that explains it.

diddl · 03/11/2022 09:28

Did anyone ever start a spoiler thread?

I'd be interested as I want to know what happens but cba to watch any more!

Emotionalsupportviper · 03/11/2022 09:53

I've only watched 1 episode so far.

Thinking about it I gave The House Across the Street more chance!😊😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/11/2022 15:28

This gripped me

bur not as much as the capture. That was bloody brilliant

OP posts:
purpleme12 · 03/11/2022 15:36

It would be incredibly hard to match The Capture

Emotionalsupportviper · 03/11/2022 17:27

The Capture was SUPERB!

Conner and Liam are twins neither are hers biologically - she's a social worker so

somehow took Liam as a baby? that's my theory anyway !

This was my thoughts. She took twins but left one… husband was in on it as he was a GP so left because of that. Maybe none of the children are hers?!

lazymum99 · 04/11/2022 11:46

Maybe selling babies? That’s why she is so invested in the girl who is pregnant

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/11/2022 12:42

I said selling babies earlier

OP posts:
LadyEloise1 · 05/11/2022 10:25

Selling babies ! 😮😢
I think you might be right.
You know I can't binge.

MissMarpleRocks · 05/11/2022 10:37

I’ve watched it all. Currently both DH & I have horrid virus which feels like covid but testing negative. Will be back when it’s finished to discuss with you all.
