New 6 part drama. Series 1 was good - thread here

not sure if s2 carries on or completely new story /characters as the names don’t ring a bell

Christine’s family, oldest son Will (Lloyd Everitt), youngest son Jamie (Aaron Anthony) and daughter Megan (Mali Ann Rees), are trying to get on with their lives after the recent tragic death of their brother Liam.

As they look forward to Megan’s wedding, the family have their lives turned upside down when a stranger, Connor (Jordan Wilks), arrives in town claiming a connection that nobody could have imagined.

As buried secrets come to light, they must consider who they are and grapple with morality and divided loyalty. As their lives spiral out of control, a terrible pact may be all that can save them.

Episode 1 is a bit of a chore, but stick with it - it does get much better!

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2022 20:44

🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀

Soooo. Connor knows what is happening due to usb stick

He knows what we don't know

Christine trying to drug Connor. Makes you wonder if she overdosed Liam - maybe he found out

The bottle to head - thoight b drugs didn’t help via Christine

Tho he was breathing when he said I will get help - look at his chest

So not sure why was having compressions

Tho Christine did try to help /save him. Sure she prefers him dead

But is he dead dead

Assumed so as now down the well

And no one else wandered into the cemetery while this happened

Or will have cameras at the yard

Beth knows something is up. To look so much like Liam

No one else watch

and least this time I didn’t fuck up on days 😂🙀

I watched it @Blondeshavemorefun
Found it a difficult watch.
It was horrible what happened to Conor and the mother's reaction and you did have to suspend disbelief a lot bit.
I couldn't understand why the daughter didn't put the bloodied wedding dress fabric in the sanitary bin instead of sticking wet fabric wrapped in loo paper into her bra. Surely it will seep through and be seen ?
I missed last week's episode but read up here on this thread and got the gist.

ellebelli · 08/11/2022 09:15

Aw I don't want conner to be dead!
I did wonder if the drugs would slow the breathing/heart rate down so presumed dead?but after that fall into the well???
Soon as I saw the well I knew!
Beth was an idiot with the bloodied fabric...surely it would have flushed eventually anyway.
Mums plan with the drugs were to kill him anyway?but now she can blame her son?horrid woman

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2022 09:39

Yes bloody material could have gone in the bin for tampax

im not sure here this will go now

connor and Liam dead

how can they Fill another 3 episodes

Lots of suspended disbelief but oh so gripping. Also guessing that Christine intended to kill Connor with that drug but now no need!

I so wanted Liam to ring for an ambulance. 😫All😫All te characters are a bit shitty aren't they?

Blueberrycreampie · 08/11/2022 11:44

I'm wondering what was in the box Connor gave to Beth? I have my suspicions but I'll keep them to myself for now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2022 12:15

@Blueberrycreampie share the unless youve seen all 6

OP posts:
Blueberrycreampie · 08/11/2022 12:45

Could the memory stick be in there?

Blueberrycreampie · 08/11/2022 13:22

Also re the material- more dna if needed?

Timeforachange67 · 08/11/2022 15:21

Was anyone else saying “call an ambulance” at the tv screen! Surely that’s your first reaction - he/they could have said he found Connor like that? Maybe the pact is them all keeping the secret?

LadyEloise1 · 08/11/2022 16:07

Sorry missed last week. - What's on the memory stick ?

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2022 16:24

We don’t know what’s on the stick

Connor knew.

we know he knows

but we don’t know what he knows

OP posts:
diddl · 08/11/2022 17:21

In episode 2 Christine looks at what's on the stick at about 30mins in.

If you pause you can see titles but no names.

It's to do with her work presumably.

Old files

butterpuffed · 08/11/2022 17:24

Wow ! Christine is evil . She's letting Jamie take 100% of the blame for Connor's death , she only cares about herself.

It's all so way over the top but it's good stuff and keeping me gripped !

LadyEloise1 · 08/11/2022 18:07

Thank you.
