This thread is for those of us who couldn't help but binge the whole series in one sitting. 😁

I felt so happy for Mary when she was sucked off 😄 but so sad as well 🥲 I thought they dealt with the aftermath really well. I think once the ghosts have managed to deal with whatever bothered them in life (mary finding her voice with the other ghosts and not being made to apologise to Alison), they then get sucked off.

That was really sad. I loved the backstory with Annie.

I'm up to episode 4. I loved the "worst telling off I've ever had episode"

And Mike is so lovely. It's so sweet that he's not in the least bit resentful or jealous of the ghosts.

I think they will all eventually have gone, although I've only 2 episodes left. Still don't know how Robin or the Captain died.

I loved it. Need to watch it all again though. I loved the song they performed for Alison to say sorry. And Mike just sitting there listening to the tape playing and wondering what the heck was going on.

I love this series, absolutely gutted Mary is no longer in it after getting "sucked off" twas my favourite. Loved it when Alison said she had made a basket five potato's high. Might start using that as a unit of measurement 😁

I just sat and binge-watched the series from start to finish. I was so afraid it wouldn't match the standard of previous seasons but it was brilliant I thought! Mary's episode did make me cry though! I'm really going to miss the character, and having her not be one of the 'cellar ghosts' too makes it feel so quiet. Did the actress want to leave or was it just for the storyline?

Gutted about mary as she was my favourite but i loved the way she got sucked off. It was very simple with no grand speeches and therefore i was blubbing would have liked to hear the full death story though.

I preferred this series to the last one. No bloody Lucy!

I had no idea Ghosts was back so 5hanks for the heads up. Binged the last series so off to binge this too.

I may have shed an actual tear over Mary! She was my favourite character and I’m happy for her but miss her so much.

That Mary ep was brilliantly done. Lady Button calling for her when Loose Women were on, the basket. I wonder if the other Ghosts Robin mentioned at the end will make an appearance- I want an episode with William in!

Anyone know if there’s another Christmas special coming?

I love this show so much. Although DH and I refer to it as ‘the Taskmaster reunion’ as so many of the cast have been in that too

Like many others. I hadn’t realised Robin and Humphrey were the same person! And I didn’t recognise Pat without the moustache as a plague ghost!

DD is obsessed with Thomas so we just watched Quacks which is also excellent, worth a watch if you can find it (think she uses a dodgy streaming site for it!)

Just binged it all today. Drives me potty that UK series are only 6 episodes long but it does stop things being overdone.

Loved this one so much. So sad about Mary but happy for her at the same time

Just binge watched it twice 😢 Nooooooo I didn’t want Mary to be sucked off, she was my favourite along with Robin. I thought that they were going to have a romance. Is robin and Humphrey the same actor? I can’t see it. I hope that we have new ghosts next series and i wonder what they are going to do now that the B and B has burnt down.

The Inside Ghosts podcast on BBC Sounds is quite fun - although only one episode so far as it’s coming out at TV pace.

Oh me too. I actually enjoyed when he and Alison were arguing about the bear, he seemed a bit less childlike and wet!

I don't like Mike either. He is intensely irritating.

I wondered about new ghosts. I don't know how they could do that though - they'd have to be historical ghosts or it'd just be too sad (and too much like stepping on Alison's toes to have a modern day one) but why would they not have previously discovered any ancient historical ones? I don't really get that. I'd have thought Robin would have known anyone who ever died around there. It does feel a bit unbalanced now, all the guys and not enough girls!
