Am I the only one who actually likes Mike? I love al the characters!

Finished binge watching. Loved it.
Bridget Christie's cameo was excellent.
Six episodes does seem short but quality over quantity. All four series show that. I do hope the writers are raking in some $ from the adaptation across the pond; has anyone seen that one or know how to?

I really like Mike. I love the way he's never jealous or resentful of Alison's friendship with the ghosts.

I like Mike. It's nice to see a male character on tv that isn't super macho, sexist or aggressive.

I like Mike too, he’s sweet and kind and fun.

I had to Google which character she was. I usually don't like her and didn't recognise she was Annie. She was very good.

Apparently the bbc are in the process of acquiring the rights to the US series at the moment, so hopefully they'll pop it onto iplayer soon.

Dunno if anyone saw my posts on the old thread about visiting the house with my DD - she makes TikTok videos about Ghosts and made this beautiful Mary one today, apparently it brought a tear to her friend’s eye (and she’s never even seen Ghosts!) 😢

Does anyone else feel an Alison and Mike baby coming on??

That would be interesting - especially if baby could see the ghosts too. Kitty would be ecstatic, Julian would be on a redemption arc like he was in the other baby episode, Pat would be fun uncle etc

They need to be able to sort the finances though and to have a purpose. Even with a lottery win to keep being able to maintain house, and a new baby to boot, you'd need plotlines, unless it somehow becomes like a NT property.

That look they shared in the kids’ party episode definitely seemed like a hint.

I also thought baby and the Ghosts becoming babysitters. It would explain Alison's grumpiness as well!

If a sleepy 90s politician stuck their finger in my egg, I'd be pretty grumpy too, ghost or not!

They wouldn't do that. A baby which can see the ghosts would be excellent- although it would be even harder on Mike.

Did everyone one spot the pinboard with the drawings of the ghosts for Mike's benefit? That was such a nice touch.

I was going to say! According to Mary babies only see ghosts until they're walking though, which means little one would have to stop seeing them eventually which would be really sad!

I’ve only just discovered Ghosts. Well I’ve seen clips but never sat down and properly watched it. I bloody loved it. I’ve now watched all of series four. Gutted about Mary going. She didn’t even get to say goodbye. She was one of my favourites. I think she did have a bit of a farewell with finally telling her story and being proven right with Alison. So I guess that was her ending. She just got sucked off so quickly. 😄

I thought it was great, can't believe that Robin died of lighting strike. It does explain why he can affect lighting.
