Just binge-watched this in Australia and loved the way Mary's "gone gone" was handled. Robin always steals the show. Those stars. I had something in my eye.

Agree the fifth season will tell us of the death of the Captain (and his name!), as well as Kitty's. Much more building of the love between Alison and Mike evident in series 4; not that they didn't love each other, so a baby in the offing.

I love this show, so funny, humane and understatedly clever. More intertextuality as well, Robin wanting to watch "The Wire".

I just watched the whole series.
What with his reaction to Mary’s death and his own, comic, yet frightening fear of the bear, this was the year of Robin.

Pat, oh Pat, how sweet he was with Kitty. I would have thought she would have had a Christian approach to death, but I suppose being a ghost a made her question everything she knew about an afterlife.)
Mike and Alison, after having watched the US version of Ghosts, I appreciate even more the chemistry between these two actors.

Katy. Katy, Katy, I will miss your plague ghost too. I loved the completely different voice she used. Mary’s voice must have been hard on Katy. I might give Stath a re-watch to see Carole. (No Pat, not your Carole 😟)

The new Tesco Christmas Advert I'm pretty sure has Simon Farnaby doing the voice over for it. I can only hear Julian though and half expect him to say something like "Christmas ORDERS!"

Is there a Christmas episode this year? I really hope there is.
