and I loved it even more this time, it's just so lovely! If you haven't watched it, do.

I can't seem to find anything to watch-I've seen and loved: Mum; Gavin and Stacey; After Life; Friday Night Dinner, and Worzel
Gummidge.

Would love some suggestions 😊

Have you seen Don't Forget The Driver? Also has Toby Jones in it and is on iplayer.

cathycake · 20/09/2022 22:50

Our Country - should still be available on Iplayer - I enjoyed all the things you mentioned and hope you give it a try and love it as much as I did

pinok · 20/09/2022 22:59

Detectorists, Gavin and Stacey and Friday Night Dinner are some of my absolute favourites.

Others I’ve loved... This Country, Motherland, Derry Girls

BrennieGirl · 20/09/2022 23:06

Try Cockfields. It really reminds me of detectorists - kind of funny and gentle.

kerosene20 · 20/09/2022 23:10

Stella! It’s ace.

pisspants · 20/09/2022 23:13

Seth lets flats and Big Boys also worth a watch for gentle drama and humour

MissHavishamsMouldyOldCake · 20/09/2022 23:19

Mum

MissHavishamsMouldyOldCake · 20/09/2022 23:19

Duh. Sorry, only noticed you've listed Mum.

Ignore me!

Rapidtango · 20/09/2022 23:19

Ghosts - and a new series starts Friday!

MissHavishamsMouldyOldCake · 20/09/2022 23:22

Let me suggest Alma's Not Normal instead. It's not gentle as such, it's quite bleak. But it's also uplifting and funny.

Is it Friday? Oh joyous day!

OverTheHillAndDownTotherSide · 20/09/2022 23:23

Upright.

Neveranynamesleft · 20/09/2022 23:25

Early Doors. An old one but very funny, written by and starring Craig Cash (Dave in Royal Family ) set in a Manchester pub.

ReginaPerrin · 20/09/2022 23:27

The Other One is also good, and as mentioned by a pp, Cockfields is great too.

CPL593H · 20/09/2022 23:30

Mum with Lesley Manville

This Country.
I've only seen the first The Outlaws but it's good.

Agree - Don’t Forget the Driver is a similar feel to the Detectorists. I really enjoyed it.

Flaunch · 21/09/2022 07:16

I came to say Ghosts too and am so happy to read that there’s a new series!!
