I can't seem to find anything to watch-I've seen and loved: Mum; Gavin and Stacey; After Life; Friday Night Dinner, and Worzel
Gummidge.

I just love The Detectorists too! I've also really enjoyed, Two Doors Down, Am I Being Unreasonable, Ghosts, This Country and Motherland.

I haven't heard of 'The Cleaner', but will look it up-thank you.

Watched the Detectorists last month for the first time. Can't believe I missed it first time round, but so glad I haven't had to wait years for the new Xmas special! It's a beautiful programme.

In addition to all the great recommendations, may I add:

Count Arthur Strong - started off as a Radio 4 comedy. The TV adaption stars the amazing Steve Delaney as Arthur and a lovely turn by Greg Kinnear as his former comedy partner's son. I think its still on Netflix; and

The Goes Wrong Show. The hilariously inappropriate and disastrous stage plays of the hapless "Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society".

Has anyone mentioned Back yet? It's got David Mitchell and Robert Webb in it and is brilliant. I've just checked and it's written by the same people that wrote The Thick of It.

Detectorists Christmas special is on BBC 2, 9pm, Boxing Day. Very excited!

Oh I love the end credits in the final Detectorists.
I had terrible stress when I thought they were going to walk right past the falling gold but then they saw it. Phew!! Hope that means Andy and Becky could do up their house? I found myself rewatching and wondering what the price is gold is- it’s just under £50 per g.

Have been slowly rewatching the whole series in advance of the Detectorists Xmas special - by far the Xmas programme that I have been looking forward to seeing the most out of any of them this year!

Did you see the new Christmas special last night…

Two of my favourite moments happen in the background - the best one is Varde proposing to Louise with a ring she finds. Also Lance giving the lemonade to Phil and in the next scene you see him jumping off the ladder and spitting it out.

Best character has to be Russell.

The White Lotus is funny. 2 seasons. Season 2 is best I think
