Ooh I'm pleased this is starting again.

I'd rather it was Greg and Chris though😒

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2022 11:31

Why has Greg left

mys be new then

who is Jordon

OP posts:
Newestname002 · 18/05/2022 11:38

Jorden Banjo, brother of Ashley Banjo from dance troupe "Diversity". 🌹

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2022 12:50

And what does he know about healthy food /cooking

I'll miss Greg, sorry Gregg.

The main thing is the show is back and I can judge away as the family are gently introduced to the fact that buying six different dinners each night and ready-peeled and segmented oranges might not be the way to afford a trip to Florida.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2022 14:47

Course we will judge them for buying insane food and then amazed they can save money

have always said they need to trim off someone who spends £50/60 a week instead of £150-180/200 a week with top ups

😂

This show is ridiculous but I love it.

I actually had an ad for it on my instagram feed this morning

toastofthetown · 19/05/2022 18:29

I feel slightly ashamed for how excited I am this is back. And looking forward to Gregg free TV!

Wolfcub · 19/05/2022 20:01

Yay no Gregg

jay55 · 19/05/2022 20:02

Hurriedly putting on my judgy pants.
So need this.

jay55 · 19/05/2022 20:08

What a heartbreaking backstory, it'll be a zero judgement episode. That they're making any meals is a bloody miracle.
Totally understandable to be using convenience foods.

Wolfcub · 19/05/2022 20:09

I hope Chris finds ways to make things easier for them, they must be knackered

toastofthetown · 19/05/2022 20:12

This episode is just sad. I prefer the ones where I can laugh at people for being adamant they only like their jam, only to reject the jam given which was their their jam in the first place.

NearlyHeadlessNick · 19/05/2022 20:12

Oh that poor boy 😢

Wolfcub · 19/05/2022 20:14

I absolutely get that it's more pleasurable when you can hold your head in your hands in shock but I do.M like it when they help people who will really benefit from the intervention

LizzieBananas · 19/05/2022 20:15

No judgement here. Already crying.

KnitPurlKnitPurl · 19/05/2022 20:26

So many people are scared of leftovers. And stopping throwing away food is such an easy way of saving cash.

Wolfcub · 19/05/2022 20:32

Loving Jordan as a presenter in comparison to Gregggg

KnitPurlKnitPurl · 19/05/2022 20:48

Agree. Gregg was just annoying. Jordan is very relatable and comes across very well.

jay55 · 19/05/2022 21:06

Hope they managed to get a few holidays in.

Wafflehouse · 19/05/2022 22:03

I liked the new set up, glad they got rid of the pretend surprise at the checkout and liked that there was a check in with them a couple of months on.

Nice family too, the last few series seemed to be full of families who were just needlessly spending money without any thought at all and it had all become a bit of a joke. This week they just needed a hand with tips to make things a bit easier for their family life and save a bit. I hope the rest of the series goes this way.

Ellenanora7 · 19/05/2022 23:19

Ah crap didn't know it was back, hope it's repeated

Waves toJay and Wolf did you miss Gregg ☺️

Haven’t seen it yet but agree that the 'supermarket surprise' had gone beyond ridiculous by now.

Grin about the jam. I also like the comparison test where everyone thinks Lidl jaffa cakes are better than McVities, M&S and some artisan brand where one jaffa cake costs more than an entire box from a normal supermarket.

I wonder if we will get through the whole series in one go or if it will mysteriously disappear several times with no explanation? I predict Jubilee, Wimbledon and whatever major summer sporting event is scheduled for summer 2022 to get in the way for a start.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/05/2022 09:19

Haven’t read replies yet as just watching now and don’t want to read what I havnt seen

but

to be told your toddler is going to die 😢😢😢😢

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/05/2022 09:42

Least they buy lots of fruit and veg

i like Pre cooked chicken. Nice in salads

tbh I don’t blame them for making life easier or quicker with the foods they have in their home

First time they’ve jumped out at home isn’t it Guess covid stopped supermarket stalking

£105 is average for family of 5

not on mn 😂😂

wow at £230 a week

how do people afford that
