What spooked the horses just before the Queen arrived? One of the riders ended up on the floor. I saw him back up again, must have been a shock.

Didn't realise a rider had been dismounted when the horses were spooked.

I a,so wondered why TC, but it looks like loads of actors are taking part so I guess in that respect he's just another one.

There's definitely gaps with all the history filler. Saw it live the other night, they should really just let it run and stop interrupting the show.

Tom Cruise did a private screening of his latest film with William & Kate a few weeks back didn’t he, so I assume he is “in” with the Royal Family. Otherwise his presence doesn’t make a lot of sense really.
I’m finding the programme a bit painful. They always seem to do things like this for big royal occasions, but they are so old fashioned. Also it can’t decide whether it’s entertainment or a parade. It’s an odd mix. I do love the heavy horses though.

I wanted to love it but sadly finding it a bit strange. It doesn’t seem to know what it is. Concert, military style show, tv entertainment/pantomime type comedy show. It’s a bit confusing.
Also wondering why the Queen is actually there. She looks unhappy and is surely cold. It is quite a lot for a person of her age. Surely the younger royals could have be the guests at this one.

Yes, and it seems to be the finale to this year's Royal Windsor Horse Show merging into the Jubilee celebrations.

I agree it's a bit different. I'm viewing it as a Christmas panto on horseback. I love it.
