It's called a Gallop Through History - it's meant to be horsey. I was there last night, it was pretty cheesy but very entertaining- Princess Anne was there last night. Looks like HM is enjoying it.

He's enjoying it but tonight's the last night and he's definitely ready for home!!

They've been there since Sunday and they had two days of rehearsals which is nothing to pull it all together so it's been long days and a lot of pressure, but what an experience at the same time.

It was preview night on Wednesday with Beatrice, the next night it was Edward and Sophie, then princess Ann last night then obviously the queen tonight.

The tv cut out about half an hour of show stuff before the Queen arrived which is a shame and they've definitely chopped it to bits between adverts and the filler stuff, it's losing the actual atmosphere of the show

Was last night's events different to tonight's? And was it broadcast on TV too?

@Meredusoleil the entertainment looks the same so far but the presenters are different. Ours was Alan Titchmarsh (and Omad Djalili), and no I don't think it was televised. No Tom Cruise!

She had an English accent on The One Show before, everyone was baffled but I don't think anyone ever got to the bottom of why someone born and raised in the US, albeit with a British father, has a British accent.
