I'm quite enjoying having it on in the background. Nice to see the Queen looking like she's enjoying herself. That drum-off was clever and the Azerbaijani riders were amazing. What with Eurovision and now this, the weekend's been batshit crazy TV-wise (in a good way).

Yea the Kings Troop are about 50/50 men to women, but the Household Cavalry have only very recently (in the last couple of years).

The King’s Troop barracks used to be near me (before they moved down to Woolwich), and they all used to ride down my street in the morning, gun carriages and all, on their way to train in Hyde Park. Such an amazing sight.

Born in Hawaii and went to school in the US I thought! Although with New Zealand heritage. Strange mix to end up with an English accent though!
