From what I can make out from the commentary, the other royals have watched the show throughout the week as Alan Titchmarsh talked about Princess Anne's reaction to it.

Speaking as an Irish girl, the historical facts are somewhat 'romanticised '!!! I'm still enjoying it as a theatrical spectacle....my dh , on the other hand, is tutting away as he tap, taps on his laptop (apparently not watching!)

It's fairly flying through history. I went to the loo and to get a drink and we've jumped from Charles II to Scott of the Antarctic. I guess a fair wodge of that was live during the ad break?

The Queen looks as if she’s really enjoying it. I get a bit damp eyed when I see her these days.
