I haven't been watching properly since the time change but I caught a glimpse the other day. Nicky's hair extensions looked awful, plastic like Barbie hair. If she wears these all of the time, not just for the show, then you'd have thought she'd have more realistic looking ones.

Charlotte was John’s colleague, who knew he’d stolen Colin Fishwick’s identity and helped him cover it up, because she had a thing for him. Joy was Mrs Warboys of One Foot in the Grave Colin’s mother, who went digging into what happened to him, so John smothered her (I think).

It's like groundhog day with Summer. How many times now has she been discovered not taking medicine/bingeing/not eating? And the following scene with Billy after the discovery is always exactly the same.

Why has Fizz never changed her own surname? Its 2022, lots of women change their name back after divorce. Well, technically she's widowed I suppose not divorced but why would you keep the name of a murderer? She could easily have changed both her and Hawp's names to Brown.

Oh and what I came onto say before got distracted I am so bloody fed up of Daniel/Nikki/Daisy triangle.

Brown is a bit boring, id change to montefiore or something if i was her. They should bring back the evil big sister.
I would like Nikki and her invisible child to move elsewhere. And Daniel could choose from knickers, kebabs, Speed Dahl, or even health centre admin as a pivot. Or the beard oil.

I wonder if Fiz didn't change their names in the hope Ty would marry her and they could become Dobbs. And was saving the hassle of changing them from Stape to Brown then again to Dobbs.

Alina's very last scene was in the airport bar, where she rather pointedly refused an alcoholic drink and ordered tomato juice. This was after looking wistful while rubbing her midsection.

So I'd say baby Pop-Dobbs is a sure thing... we just don't know if s/he'll turn up next month or in twenty years.

Did anyone else think Phil's sudden personality change was a bit unlikely? It's like the scriptwriters thought 'quick, we need to rush getting Fiz and Ty back together, so let's all of a sudden paint Phil as an insensitive arsehole'.

Its sodding boring and insulting. They're 2 perfectly good actors. I mean they're scripts for the last 6 months have been like something from the Carry Ons. Don't they get fed up? It was all mildly amusing once. I used to love Tim & Sally too.

Talking of long-lost siblings, Fiz and Chesney have an older brother who only appeared once. Why has he never been resurrected?

I also wonder if Kevin and Debbie will ever remember they have a younger brother. I know technically speaking he’d have to have a German accent if have came into it, but they (wisely) didn’t give Bethany an Italian accent, so it would probably be easily enough ignored.

I can't believe anyone would be daft enough to call a file they really didn't want their partner or child to look at their actual name. And then give the child in question free unsupervised access to it. Was that to pave the way for the shark-jumping suggestions he came up with later, since it's been revealed he really is that stupid?

Hope Stape is an awful name anyway, Fizz should definitely change it. The whole Hope thing was so stupid, why couldn't she sit in her own home while Phil worked outside in the garden, she isn't two for goodness sake.
And how he didn't drag her screaming out of that digger when she smashed up his car I will never know, wonderful self restraint on his part.

He was gobsmacked, poor Phill was rendered immobile. It was excellent, better than Tims storyline. I like Hope taking matters into her own hands, she should definitely force Adam to sort out a name change.
