Your brand spanking new thread to discuss the latest developments in Weatherfield. I for one will be on tenterhooks until Summer’s exam results come through…

Tim and Sally's relationship is one of the best things about Corrie, opposites attract, nipping off for sex during people's weddings etc, it should have been immune to the 'issues' fest that Corrie has become.
We have no evidance that
Alina was pregnant jelly but she was rubbing her belly and looking wistful when she was leaving so it seems likely.

mycatisannoying · 20/05/2022 04:20

I loved it too. 'Who do you think we are - the Happy Mondays?' Grin

MurderAtTheBeautyPageant · 20/05/2022 20:48

it feels like the writers are trying to turn away from all the doom and gloom and back to some humour.

Thankfully.

Also, it's nice to see actual extras in the background of the caf and Rovers.

lackofvision · 20/05/2022 20:51

Wouldn't Gail have the sense to keep her mouth shut and not share what she knew with others especially Tim

thenightsky · 20/05/2022 21:01

I wish I could care enough to remember who this Ronnie is.

eggandonion · 20/05/2022 21:33

Gail has zero sense now. Im starting to get bored with Tim and his problem. Ken is going to be disappointed in Daniel, and i dont know where jacob and Amy will live...with Craig?

Honeyroar · 20/05/2022 21:36

Whose was the bench that Eileen and Gail were putting flowers on?

eddiemairswife · 20/05/2022 21:56

Daniel will end up sewing knickers. I think Gail and Eileen were remembering the Manchester Arena bombing.

carbay · 20/05/2022 22:44

The Bench was dedicated to Martyn Hett, the massive Corrie fan who died in the Manchester Arena bombing. What a thoughtful tribute! So sad.

That's lovely. I was trying to work out if an ex Corrie resident was meant to have died in the bombing but could only think of Martin Platt.

I'm so sick of hearing about Tim and Sally's sex life. I know soaps are known for bringing issues into the public domain but this feels so unnecessary!

Aww that’s so lovely. I remember him. I was trying to think if a resident was meant to have been there too. The only Martin I could think of was Martin Platt!

I’m quite surprised Daniel pushed Nicky away, but pleased. Daisy’s ears had pricked up in the pub when he was there.

I think he will miraculously retrain as a solicitor while helping Adam in the office.

TellingBone · 21/05/2022 19:10

After months of puzzling, I've finally remembered who Jacob reminds me of.

Gripper Stebson

Yes!

thenightsky · 21/05/2022 22:54

Yes!

And Marc Almond.

FantasticButtocks · 21/05/2022 23:36

Is there any chance that Imran isn't actually the father of Abi's baby? It would be a good twist if Alfie was actually Kevin's baby... (or has it been established?)

Even Toyah is starting to look distinctly uncomfortable with the situation... Imran knows perfectly well what he has done is wrong, but he keeps going. I would love it to turn out that he is not even the father.

Clawdy · 22/05/2022 08:27

The scene at the memorial bench was well done. Martyn loved Gail, so I was pleased she was part of that scene.

I really like Nicky.
The Daniel/Daisy drama was tedious.

carbay · 22/05/2022 09:35

The actress who plays Nicky is only 34, but that weird make up she uses makes her look a lot older. I find her face strangely unsettling.

AnyFucker · 22/05/2022 09:38

Nicky’s hair is certainly unsettling.

lollipoprainbow · 22/05/2022 10:06

@carbay me too almost doll like and creepy !

TellingBone · 22/05/2022 11:21

Indeed. And the costume department clearly have a lot of fun when choosing her outfits. 😆

I agree!

Honeyroar · 22/05/2022 22:10

She didn’t look like that when she was previously around. She’d have got make up all over Sinead’s cardie! This look doesn’t do her any favours.

I agree Daisy and Daniel are tedious, and wouldn’t be a good match long term.

Yes very odd.
She didnt look over made up etc.
The whole point was that Daniel had no idea she was an escort.
