It feels like in nearly every episode someone is overheard and that's how the story develops. Why would everyone have their private conversations in earshot of the very person they don't want to know the information?

Soap plots would go nowhere without at least one inconvenient eavesdropper and one 'If you don't tell him, I will' a week.

Imran is such a SHITBAG. When the episode ended I found myself chuckling thinking ‘haha you prick.’ Can’t stand him. Hope the truth comes to light sooner rather than later.

In soapland, a character can demand a private conversation with someone, and they'll move 4 ft away into the tiny kitchen, (which is open to the living room) have their super secret conversation at normal volume and the person sitting RIGHT THERE on the sofa can't hear them.

But characters can also somehow hear perfectly fine as they eavesdrop on a conversation whilst hiding behind a wall or bush and the person they're listening in on is standing 5 houses away!!

Why doesn't Abi try to sort some sort of arrangement with Toyah and Imran where they remain his primary carers but she sees Alfie really regularly and some overnights etc. I think Toyah would go for that. Then she could demonstrate she is a good parent.
At least they could work up to a shared parenting thing unlike now where she can't see him at all.

I'm still watching tonight's though, so no doubt something more dramatic will happen!

I don't get why Abi wasn't able to hold baby Alfie at the naming ceremony. It looked really odd having Toyah holding him and feeding him when his own mother was sat right next to her. Even Imran didn't hold Alfie. It was all about Toyah. No wonder Abi is planning to snatch him, which presume she must be if she's getting him a passport.

I dont understand why Abi doesnt appeal on the strength of her ongoing drug tests, they are proof that she is clean. She would at least get joint custody with Imran i assume.

Yes, the whole plotline around the baby and Toyah is barking mad.

Meanwhile Tim is heading for a sexual heart attack, which I personally can do without seeing. I want Rita and her gobstoppers back.
